  1. I currently use a local hospital in Pattaya to buy Ozempic but with the Dr. Fee the price is 12,200 for the 1mg pen. (This is the cheapest price in Pattaya out of all of the hospitals and online pharmacies I have contacted). MedConsult in Bangkok quoted me a price of 22,000 + 350 baht delivery to Pattaya for 2 months. So, essentially 11,150 baht for one month. I have read some reviews online of poor customer service and orders not arriving as scheduled by their courier service. Does anyone here have first-hand experience of ordering online from MedConsult and was it a positive one? Also, I am assuming their products are genuine. Any feedback will be appreciated.
  2. Thanks for you suggestion. I have just tried with a different browser but still have the same issue. It is looking like it an extra trip for my wife to pick up her passport and visa when her visa application has been processed.
  3. I would like to use the courier option which is only 308 baht to have my wife's passport and hopefully UK visa returned. The drop down country box which is set at Thailand is greyed out. When I have filled out all of the mandatory fields I cannot proceed to the next step ''Continue'' (to payment) which is at the bottom because I am unable to insert Thailand since it is greyed out. Anyone else encountered this or have any suggestions. Her appointment at VFS Global is next week. If this won't work online will she be able to pay at the appointment to have her passport returned by courier?
  4. Thanks for all of the replies. Much appreciated.
  5. I am applying for a 6 month standard visitor visa, for my wife, to visit the UK. How do I show evidence that myself, as a sponsor ''is not, or will not be, in breach of UK immigration laws at the time of your visit.'' Also my wife has not left Thailand since 2017, do I need to upload any of her previous passports? I have answered the question confirming that her last visit to the UK was in 2017.
  6. Just a quick note to say thank you all for taking the time and trouble to reply. There have been many wide and varied responses. They have all been very interesting and informative to read.
  7. Etaoin, thank you very much for your reply. It is most appreciated.
  8. My 7 year old daughter is in a mid-tier international school (year 3) that follows the IGCSE curriculum. She is half Thai and half English. Whilst her written, spoken and understanding of English language is very good and commiserate with where she should be at her age her Thai is not. There are only 2 Thai lessons per week in her school time table. She can speak and understand Thai to a reasonable level though not to the level of a student at a Thai school. She is unable to read or write Thai at present. Her mother teaches her as best as she can but works very long hours running her business. My question is if I hire a Thai tutor at weekends and in the school holidays going forward would it be a reasonable expectation that my daughter over time would be able to read and write Thai, understand the Thai TV channels, be able to read Thai newspapers and so forth and to what standard? I accept that being immersed in English all day at school she is never going to speak, read & write like a native Thai. I would be very interested to know how other parents in this situation with older half Thai children dealt with this issue and to what level of reading and writing their children attained. My overarching concern, albeit a long way off, is that if my daughter ultimately decides to work in Thailand whilst having a good quality education at an international school with internationally recognised qualifications she may be at a disadvantage if her Thai reading & writing is not to a native standard. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated from parents that have already travelled this path with children that have already graduated or with children that are still in an international school and what are you doing to improve your child's Thai language reading/writing would be most welcome.
  9. Thank you all for your replies. It was the filter housing lid that was actually damaged. I had this replaced together with a new filter as my current filter was almost a year old.
  10. I have busted seal by the looks of it on the outside of my house water filter. Can anyone recommend a company or person to change this and to service both the big and small water filters also. Someone with a little English speaking ability would be preferable but not essential.
  11. I have just sold a condo and have the paperwork to remit the sale proceeds back to the United Kingdom through my bank which is Bangkok Bank. To get the best exchange rate do I send THB back to the UK or ask Bangkok Bank to change it to sterling and then remit sterling back? Many thanks.
