  1. Post date as per Urban Joe stated above. Nothing to do with work permit. Visa extension March 22nd ends. They post date the stamp with a big fat cancel I guess.
  2. I am reading that it can be done even if you are on overstay. Ok. I am also hearing that you can post cancel your working visa. I think I will post cancel my working visa (non b extension via my employer) without worrying about the work permit.
  3. I have the 800,000 baht in a bank and it has been there for over a year. I draw SS from America and it has been over 65,000 baht for at least 11 months. I do not want to go that route because it may go below 65,000 baht if the baht starts to gain on the US dollar.
  4. So, I go to Pathumthani immigration with a letter from my employer stating that the last day will be March 22nd. I go to Korat Immigration March 6th and apply for a retirement visa. Do I have to go back to the Pathumthani Immigration office? Can my employer turn in my work permit for me?
  5. Is it possible to cancel a WP and a visa extension (non b) in a Province that both were not issued? I got my non b extension and wp in Pathumthani and wish to cancel them in Korat. This would help me with getting a non o retirement visa on the same day. Thanks!
  6. You cannot file with a TM28. That went out a while back. If the owner of the residence did not file a TM-30 online or in person, you are <deleted> out of luck. He probably wanted the 2000 for the fine that either you or the owner must pay if not filing within 24 hours. Use the online app and file. Owner must file or you file if you have a yellow book. You can file for the owner or lessee but you need a copy of the bluebook, the owners id and a form allowing you to file from the owner (power of attorney I believe it is). There are a lot of people who just pay the fine each year for the owner.
  7. So, I will have to leave Thailand and come back on a tourist visa? Or is there any other way to handle this? I just checked and my original visa of entry is a tourist visa. Does that matter?
  8. I would like to know how to change my current Non B extension (ends March 22nd 2022) to a Non O retirement extension that will allow me to work up to the last day, March 22nd 2022. I am currently working in Pathumthani and want to retire in Korat. Pathumthani immigration stated that I could go to Korat immigration 45 days or less and apply for the extension but I keep reading from others that I have to cancel my work permit and Non B extension before applying. I am lost.
