I am on my 3rd retirement extension, normally get a letter from British embassy, and have 400, thousand bht in thai bank for 3 months, unfortunately I will be out of Thailand when my new retirement extension is due on Aug 16(arrive 8 days late) will I be ok to put 65 thousand baht into a bank account starting 28th February? I am married but would prefer retirement extension this year if possible.

or maybe they bark all night?
Nearest house is over 100 meters away, they only bark if someone comes near the shop at night, so far lost 4 puppies and a 10 year old dog, only one left now....

Glad you and your dog are ok, someone keeps poisoning my wife's dogs in the village, don't know if it's because they want to steal from her shop, or as she thinks they are jealous of her.

People pay for it because they can. I don't because I can't. It's like cutting the grass yourself, or paying someone to do it, a matter of choice and finances.
I can afford to pay, just feel 13000 bht is a waste of money, I am retired so have plenty of spare time ?

I just did mine, I would think the whole time I spent in immigration,, was 30 minutes, that includes picking up passport, and getting re entry stamp, it's such a straightforward process, I am surprised people pay an office to do it.

I have lived in Pattaya, in the same house for 4 years, I am on a extension of stay based on retirement, I have been out of Thailand many times, and have never got or been asked for a TM30, I don't even know if my landlord filled one in when I became a Tennant. I just use my Thai driving licence as proof of address, and never had a problem at Jomtien immigration, I suppose ignorance is bliss ?

I have a permission to stay based on retirement, and a multi re-entry permit, they both expire in August, am planning on leaving Thailand in July for 3 months, is there anyway I can extend them for another year while I am in the UK,, or will I have to start a new when I get back in October?

Just filling in my TM8 before i go to immigraton next week, it asks date of entry into Thailand, what date should i put ? as on google people have put dates a few years ago, I just assumed it would be the last time i entered the country 25th july 2017

Nope, money must be in bank three (two) months on day of application.
i read on another post its 90 days, that would be ok, but from 12 may to 12 august would not. thanks

The rule is that it has to be in the bank for 3 months on the date you apply unless it is your first extension which only requires 60 days.
You could try on the 11th since you would not be able to apply on August 14th since it is a holiday and immigration will be closed.
If denied on the 11th you would have to go on the 15th but would not be fined for an overstay since your extension ends on a holiday.
Don't forget to get a re-entry permit when you get the extension or you will lose your extension when you leave the country.
will i be able to get extension and re-entry permit all on the same day ? or do i have to go back the next day to pick them up ?

I put 800 thousand bht in my bank on 12th May, for my Retirement extension, which is due on 14th August. The 12th of August is a Saturday, Is it possible for me to get my Retirement extension on August 11 ? I am planning on going to Cambodia on August 15th so was hoping to get extension and multi reentry permit by 14th at latest.
How long on 65k method to get a visa?

I will be out of Thailand for 3 months before the extension is due. I don't suppose if I just apply late I can get one? (At jomtien)
