Ubonjoe , A friend of mine has a reduced pension in Australia and he was wondering what the possibilties might be of him being able to come to Thailand and afford to extend his stay .
-
Income , and Available funds ...meaning your savings . Can your available funds be used in association with your income to help prove you have the means to substantiate your stay in Thailand . Thanks

Yes Tanoshi it is a nuisance , but in my 71st year now and l just keep smiling and have learned the way for the last 5 years ,so l dont get surprised anymore, cheers mate.

No we aren't married UbonJoe , and we explained this to the officer, Thank you for your advice we will make plans to go to Savannakhet .

Yes UbonJoe showed Stat Dec and combination with bank book is equivalent to 1.1 million baht, at 25.55 baht to the Australian dollar .The rate given to us by the officer. l could do another Stat Dec to show a million baht by itself legitimately if you think that would do any good, Another request was to show photos of the both of us in different rooms in her house, besides the photos standing in front of her house showing the street number . Officer made a few calls during the interview ,My girlfriend understood the calls were to Khon Kaen for clarificaton purposes . Like l said very friendly and seemed genuinely disappointed she couldn't help .

Hi , hopefully i have posted my query on the right forum, i will be travelling to Thailand on a SETV , and would like to change to a 90 day non - immigrant visa, I have a Thai bank book, but have not kept ATM slips or Superrich receipts from the past several years.
A lot of the money i changed at Superrich and withdrew from an ATM and then deposited into my bank a/c,
I will bring AUS $ in October and change into approximately 300,000 Thai baht at superrich exchange booth, and then deposit the money into my Thai bank a/c,
I have been at the same address in Chaiyaphum for 4 years
I have Thai drivers license with same address
My pension and the BHT 300,000 is equal to BHT 800,000 plus
Do i need to bring my bank statement from Australia to show
adequate available funds
Will the receipt from Superrich exchange be evidence enough that Aus $ were bought into the country
Do i need a Statutory Declaration from the Australian Embassy
Are ATM receipts linked to my Australian bank recognised as proof of funds being transferred into Thailand
Thank you for any help you can give me on my first exhaustive post !
Cheers .!

My friend in Australia ,has informed me he has a Home Equity loan , and would include that
"fund" in a Stat Dec from the Australian Embassy ,and if he was ever asked to prove his declaration to immigration ,would a Notarised bank statment ,which would show a debit balance but also would show he had Available Funds of X amount of dollars well in excess
of the debit figure , be accepted . Thanks
