One thing I have noticed in the last few months, I don't hear the drug dealers saying "marijuana, or cocaine when I walk by them. This is a good sigh as it used to happen without fail before. They don't seem to be gone but just linger in along the walk.

    Firstly, they say "Wana Wana".

And secondly, these dealers are still there.

    In Jomtien too.

There was one guy, one a bicycle all done up in rasta colors with ganja leave motif.

Did I read he was in the monkey house now?

I have a feeling these new security will get rid of the girls and grass (the fun stuff) but the jet ski guys will keep on going.

  2. He was never arrested and nobody really fled nowhere. I remember that statement fainly as remember reading it and shoving it to person who supposely was arrested when he was definately sitting at jail.

Like said there was lot of comments from way 2 meny coppers wanting to get credit and i think this particular chief wich said hes arrested 2 peeps was was made by one of police who had nothing to do with eny investigation and just tryed get some glory like them all at the time.

Again not shure but just quessing i quess.

    Wrong again.

Arrested and fled. You can find the links, no problem.

The Police Commissioner, on September 23 said the Headmans brother was ARRESTED and he then said the Headmans son FLED.

The Headman claimed his son didnt flee...just hurried off to school as scheduled.

Headman and their kin don't go to jail in Thailand. Isn't that common knowledge?

  3. There are some very nasty inner-city neighborhoods in the USA. The gangs that live there, think they are at war.

The cops must deal with the dangerous lowlifes every day. Therefore the cops are bitter and on red alert. They can't take any shit and they are trained to win every confrontation.

When some 6'6", 300Lb war machine, robbery/assault suspect reaches inside a police car and punches a cop, bad things should happen.

The cop says there was a struggle for the policeman's gun and I believe it because there was a bullet fired into the car door from inside and gunpowder on the black guys hand.

Like I said earlier, the crybabies picked the wrong case to protest.

  4. It's not only the ladyboy brigade drugging tourists.

I was slipped something at lunchtime at a popular british pub.

I can only guess the waitress liked my MacBook and had an accomplice tail me outside, just waitng for me to pass out at some random spot. Nice.

Lucky for me, I went directly to my room after my meal. Otherwise I would have been laying on some sidewalk for the next 18 hours in a coma. I could barely walk the next morning, 18 hours later.

A stronger dose may have even killed me.

I bet this happens hundreds of times for every published report we see.

I say attempted murder charges for the culprits.

Which pub? What action did you take? Did you report the matter to the police or to the Manager?

I did speak with the manager about it. He was sympathetic but sure it couldn't happen in his place ...

Of course I would never phone the police and end up with my photo in the WWW news, then being mocked by the nice people on ThaiVisa.

  5. Once the PM of Thailand and the PM of Myanmar work things out these two guys will be out on Bail. Myanmar have already guaranteed they will not skip the country if they are released to them on Bail.w00t.gif O well just have to wait and seecoffee1.gif

PM Prayuth will not be interfering in this case.

  6. TRIP ADVISOR:

"There are some nice beaches in Thailand but this isn't one of them. Jomtien/Pattaya beach is horrible, why, because, It is a narrow beach with plastic bags, food cartons, rats and cigarette ends everywhere, the water is always grey/brown, many of the the paths are broken and uneven with holes (where the rats live). It has beach has vendors covering it with chairs and umbrellas along it's length. Sad but true.

    Visited July 2014"
  7. Anything that looks "nice" or giving that image that Pattaya is a well-kept modern city is owned/managed by private business(hotels, shopping centers, condos...) Can anyone name anything that is owned by the city officials is well kept or even gives a "caring image"? Bali pier---Hxxx No. Beach Rd promenade- not even for whole year; city sidewalks(laughable); those Dolphin street lights lined up along Pattaya North (a safety issue and not all of them work at night time)... The mayor and other city council members have a better education than the average Thai and many of them have traveled outside of Thailand. You would think they would have an awareness what a decaying city verses a maintained city looks like.

I wrote the Mayors Facebook page and mentioned the trash all along the beach promenade.

His reply? He thought it looked great!

The guy must live in a slum.

He blocked me from commenting after my constructive criticism.

  8. The dozens of overflowing, rank, garbage bins piling up along Jomtien don't smell sweet but the contract to the collectors sure does.

Must be nice to have that contract with the city to collect garbage.(and not pick it up)

Why bother paying staff to pick it up when you can drop off more and more filthy bins when they overflow?

Who cares if the entire length of Jomtien Beach Road resembles a stinky landfill.

    Not the City.
