If you went to the village and were with Thais you might get 12 months out of it.
If you were in a main town and met a few Farangs especially if you knew them at home and they were your mates and they had been in LOS a few years your money would be gone in 3 months.
Do it on your own but it is not a lot of money

Nothing wrong with the name in LOS

Phitsanulok is a good place

Not so easy up here in Maha Sarakhom as hardly anyone can speak English. I rarely see falang. My Thai is just OK.
So you are not living in town.My wife is teaching,Anatomy, first year Medical at old University in Maha Sarakham. Her brother is a Doctor in Naklua,he studied at the old University at Maha Sarakham.I have never been to a place in LOS where all the kids and people speak English and good as Maha Sarakham.Go and have a sit down at one of the Universitys all the kids will come up to you and speak English they love doing it

Have you checked the missing snake reports at the police station?
That was funny

It is always possible to break the law. That 20000 is chump change compared to what it will truly cost. Somewhere on TV they're talking about 50 satang whores.
My son phoned me once from somewhere on Earth. Said, Dad they have tutes here for .50 cents. I said, run. There is no such thing .
Son we don't do that.
?????????????????????????
Thats the way Brother

I believe there is blacklisting involved but it is not nearly as severe if you do it voluntarily, which it seems like you would be doing, but I'm not sure if they view clearing it up at immigration the same as the airport.
There is no blacklist or ban for overstay. An announcement made by immigration over a year ago was never approved by a higher authority.
Thats very interesting I wonder what happened to the big crackdown, overstay for so long/banned for so long.I will never need it but very interesting. Thanks for the info

Pay the fine at the airport, nothing for first day,1000 baht for the second day,500 for every day after. You do not have to worry about the coppers they will not put you in jail but might want a little compensation from you.You only problem is if immigration want you and they wouldn't worry a few days

The war on drugs has been a complete failure. Maybe the police are tired of knocking their heads against a wall.
