  1. The difference of NaCl and "Sel de Guérande" or "Fleur de Sel" is the solubility as this "Gros Sel" will not add a salty taste but remains as cristalls on the food.

Also the cristalls in butter remain intact and on the french menu is "Boeuf gros sel" very popular.

Impurities : Sel may contain traces of fish and crab

    I guess Carrefour in LOS.

  2. On Ko Adang I had seen local people opening sea urchins and collecting the inside of the nice and aboundant sea dwellers.

In Marseille/Cassis (South France) they are a delicacy in springtime and collecting is highly regulated and the sea is cold and rough.

Around Ko Leepae the water is warm and I could collect them while snorkeling. Anybody knows wich ones in the Andaman sea/gulf of Thailand taste mouth-watering ? Long vs.short spikes, black vs. black and white ?

  3. this is from The Royal Thai Consulate - Birmingham for Visa Applications

" In addition to this anyone who has entered the three times in succession without a valid visa will be automatically barred from entering the Kingdom under any circumstances for 90 days from the date of the last exit."

I am not yet in Thailand, still working in Switzerland, but when I read this to the letter like "three times in succession without a valid visa" I conclude to the letter that with a succesion of 30 d stamp followed by 60(90) d visa by 30 d stamp will never give the famous 90 d 3 stamps in 180 d and never 3 times in succession, if the visa for 60 days is granted on the basis I have the rigth ....

  4. jdinasia :

For the next 3 months you can do a 30 day run so .....

how to bring in accord with what the Royal Thai Consulate Birmingham writes on the link posted in this thread ?

    3. You hold a confirmed air ticket to leave the Kingdom within 30 days direct from a Thai airport. Please note that you must travel by air and travel from an airport outside of Thailand does not count.

  5. Thanks for replies. I go for a round bottemed and have to browse the shops as I do not find this extension rings on the web. The factories I contacted replied as sometimes in LOS with "No have" when they did not understand the problem.

I found only reduction rings for the Italian espresso machine.

  6. What is your preference when using a wok and did you find any differences in the cooking result when using a flat or a round wok or any other pan ?

And are there extension rings to buy to hold a round bottom wok on top of a standart houshold flat gas cook stove ?

Today is the first warm day in Switzerland

  7. Perscription sunglasses could be a problem because the color may be brought to the lenses by some do it yourself methode or is made in certified factory.

I have one green pair from Hongkong know the lenses are grey.

there is also a problem with the hard coating: is it on the lenses and really what you paid for.

Maybe a good indication can be the time needed to produce the lenses.

  8. Do you know the price in UK ?

In Switzerland we sell it for 30€./ 7.5 g

It must be cheaper in France or the Netherlands as i read complaints from german vets in theirs respective forums.
