This is the first time since I've lived here that I've bought a lottery ticket and won, very little I should point out, just the last 2 digits, and therefore a gain of 2000 baht.
The scam is that the official price of the lottery ticket is 80 baht sold at 100 or sometimes more, while a few years ago in cele, I remember that prayut had forbidden to sell higher than the official price, it only lasted a few months
When I want to collect my winnings, the owner of the local shop tells me 1940 bahts. I don't agree, I won 2000.
She replies me yes but I take my commission
So I paid 30 baht more for my ticket, and they charged me 60 Baht for the winnings.
It's not really that amount that will ruin me, but is there so much scamming in any other countries?
I used to play the lottery in my home country, if I won €100, I got €100, my ticket cost me €2 and not €2.5
You might say that I'm another cheap Charlie, it's not true, but it's just another scam.
Have a good day
Cheers
