  1. I have received a paper drawing with colors from my friend and would like to print it on a T-shirt. Does anyone know any store at Pattaya can make it for me?

Thank you in advance for any constructive input!

If these two women want to go to work in Korea , they could have gone on their own without

using a tour group. They could have just overstayed their visa and done like a lot of others

by the sounds of things. Putting a tour operator in a fix was just stupid on their part.

Oh well they are back in Thailand, and hope they think better for their next trip out of the

    country.

    Geezer

I got a Thai friend who went to South Korea and worked illegally in a farm raising poultry for more than a year. He came back to Thailand without any problem. 100% agreed! Those girls are stupid using a tour group!

Thank you. For Vietnam its Ho Chi Minh City and Cambodia Phnom Penh? What about Hong Kong, is it possible to get one there?

    Thank you very much

I am from Hong Kong. Yes, it is possible, but it is not easy. When I first applied my ED Visa, the consulate asked for lots of questions and documents like bank statements... other than the one that my school given me.

I am Chinese from Hong Kong staying at Pattaya. Whenever I want to have Chinese Dimsum, I will go to a Chinese restaurant called 御膳房 at Bangkok, Asok, Terminal 21. Even the selection is limited, and the service is not so good, the quality of the Dimsum is just like Hong Kong, and even better than Maxim's Chinese restaurant in Hong Kong, and they also offer discount on Monday to Saturday too. BTW, never go to Tim Ho Wan! Yes, the restaurant is originated from Hong Kong, but it is not so famous in Hong Kong as they propounded, and the ambience just like a fast food restaurant; they urge you to live the table after you finish eating. Though they get a range of Dimsum selection, but the quality of the Dimsum is just like the one made at the food stall in Hong Kong. But the price is pretty high too!

Also, never go to Hong Bao at MBK center Bangkok. The Chinese Dimsum is no better than the CP one. The inner fillings of the shrimp dumpling were still frozen When I ordered last time. The staff are too aggressive in up selling the Dimsum too! They pushed you to order this and order that. Very annoying!

I wonder. Perhaps in Bangkok Chinatown? I used to go to such a cart place in Manila Chinatown at least once a week when I lived there decades ago and as far as I know it's still there.

Though I doubt one would find anything here like the ones in Hong Kong.

  6. Thai also believes in another system called Karma or retribution or simply "as you sow, sow shall you reap". That's why the actress once became a nun after committed the crime not only for creating a publicity for herself (sorry not to say for her wrongdoing as I didn't see or feel her sense of confession from the photo last time) but also for "wiping out" her Karma. Perhaps psychologically, the family of the killed police might console themselves by thinking that it is Karma that the police had done something bad even killed that actress in his past life, and he has to payback that actress this life. Practically, getting monetary damage is the only thing that they could obtain.

I think the Thai guy overreacted ....  the chinese guy probably looked at him a few times and the thai guy took it the wrong way and therefore got upset.

A bit of a jerk if you ask me .....  he was showing off in front of other thais ...

I am sure the chinese guy meant no harm ... and will probably be glad to see arse end of Thailand.

Probably, the Chinese cannot figure out that Thai is a man or a woman.

  8. If the government feels shame and embarrassing about tones of trash disposed near the Pattaya City Hall area, they should come and have a look at the construction area just across my condo.

I can see almost everyday, there is someone unloaded tones of garbage, unused furniture, construction's leftover, trash... outside the open area of a construction site just across my condo.

I wonder where can I search help for clean up those mess?

Not just in Thailand. I live in the U.S. and a Thai lady and husband that lives a few houses down. It is disgraceful. Junk spilling out of the garage onto there lawn and the lawn and trees look like a disaster area.   Poor next door neighbor has called the police countless times.

    One of the Thai cultures?!

  10. Most likely that woman is a wife of a farang. At Pattaya, You can see those women having farang husband or boyfriend, or mixed kid, are so arrogant.

In fact, I have seen farangs did the same thing at BigC Pattaya, but the cashier not even said a word. I did complain about this to the cashier, she said it is ok so long as the farang paid cash!

Last Saturday, when I was waiting the BTS, a farang was also waiting, but he ignored the queue and stood at the middle of the door. Once, the train arrived, he rushed in!
