Seriously though, it sure looks like an intentional ditching (prolonged as long as possible) by the pilot. His ordinarily busy appointment calender had no entries for after that fateful day. He was distraught because his friend had been found guilty (in a kangaroo court) the day before. Even tho he erased data on his in-house flight simulator, investigators were able to discern that he had programmed simulations which coincided with the errant route taken by the plane that day. Guilty of mass murder. His estate should be sued to the full extent allowed by law.

A couple years ago I moved from BKK to HH. Took a years' lease on a condo (about 2 km from HH central area). I was bored out of my mind after the first month. (Mind you I had never before lived in a 'small' city.) It was not only boring but vastly overpriced for restaurants and transportation.

Some properties in HH are overpriced. A few restaurants are pricey, too.

But HH is far from boring.

Cha Am is boring. But that's a whole different subject.

I have been here for 18 months not that long compare to many. But unlike many that have been here far longer than me, I have my eyes open.

LOS land of smiles ..... what a joke that is. I don't like Thai people. Used to think they were wonderful, but the rose tinted glasses fell off.

I don't agree with this. In my experience, Thais have a low opinion of westerners who flash the cash and laugh at morons who give their (unemployed) Thai wives allowances.
