So the RTP still haven't received the requested CCTV footage of the incident. I sense where this is going, nowhere.

We don't get a lot of presidents through this studio...I hope you'll look at this as a place you can come and talk about anything that's on your mind

If the Lithuanian tourist isn't present for the perp's trial, is he set free? If so, I sense the wheels of justice will grind slowly.

So tourists will have to walk 200m inland to find them.
Nope. Last time the police cleared prostitutes off the beach promenade the girls just moved to the other side of Beach Road, about 20 metres.

Follows the typical Thai business model, when business is bad raise prices. A shame the proposed departure tax won't be going to businesses that need it, but to government backhanders. Too bad foreign residents have to pay Thai taxes but can't vote..

Thai jails are not like some jails in the west, so life in a Thai jail may well be worse that death.
Yes, especially for someone who killed so many, including mothers, indiscriminatly. She may get inmate justice.

Never seen a PCX taxi. They're expensive, use more fuel and are harder to maneuver/park in town than the usual 125cc bikes.

Naew Na Thai Caption: Bungee jump inspected after tourist complained to foreign media
Naew Na reported that the Hong Kong tourist who went to the media in his homeland after a bungee cord broke in Pattaya had damaged Thai tourism.
A wise man to go to his homeland before going to the media. In Thailand he could have been thrown in jail for slander if he went to the media.

Given the low levels of proper traffic enforcement and official prosecutions, will Thailand extradite one it's own citizens who is "suspected" of traffic offence in the USA? Fleeing the scene is common in Thailand and life is cheap here. Will be interesting to see how the Thai authorities handle this. Suppose we are unlikely to hear if she is actually extradited, but certain the USA will not give up publicity of their extradition request.
Well, her face is blurred out in the photo, that my tell you something. It's hard to find someone if you don't know what they look like.

Police should caution tourists about pulling out a roll of 44k baht in a Beach Road 7-11 late at night. Some insurance companies I've dealt with won't cover loss of cash.
