Justice minister praises Thaksin as a “peacemaker”
1duckyboy replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
"the former prime minister is suffering from numerous illnesses." The issue isn't about the "numerous illnesses", but to what degree Thaksin's "suffering" is that it necessitates 6+ months of hospitalization. The proposed home-stay detention would render this question moot. So he's gotten the red carpet treatment, when is the parade? -
Bus accident in Prachuap Khiri Khan: 14 dead, 35 injured
1duckyboy replied to webfact's topic in Hua Hin and Cha-Am News
I'm not saying it but TAT has repeatedly stated that news of boating fatalities, mall shootings and kidnappings in which fatalities were Chinese contributed to the decreasing number of Chinese tourists to Thailand. New public health minister walks back ‘recreational’ cannabis
1duckyboy replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
This is exactly how its done in California. Most California physicians recognize marijuana's medicinal value and will give a prescription to a patient. The patient then gets a card allowing them to buy and possess marijuana. Because marijuana is still a controlled substance, dispensaries have to be licensed and their number and locations are controlled by state and local governments. There is not a proliferation of weed dispensaries and those that exist are low profile, as befitting a pharmacy/chemist. -

Doctor Reveals Concerning Symptoms in Thaksin's Condition
1duckyboy replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
"Unease" and "concern" are not objective, measured results of the tests given. No tangible reason was given for the vague, unsubstantiated feelings of "unease" and "concern" of medical staff.
