Pheu Thai to install Srettha as Prime Minister by forming a coalition pact with government parties
As soon as they are in they should ditch the junta parties and re-team with FF. Might help redeem their shameful conduct.

Parliament to meet again July 27th to select prime minister
PT needs to stick with MF and make the senators face the decision of once again voting against democracy and the will of the voters. This time they can't hide behind the lame excuse of Pita's possibly holding an inherited miniscule share of a defunct media company.

Pita ordered to suspend doing his duties as an MP
You can be both an executor and an inheritor under a Will's terms, or an executor who does not inherit anything in the Will. In many Wills, a spouse is named as Executor and is also an inheritor in the Will. Depending on the Will's terms, an Executor can be unpaid, or paid a fee for work performed in executor duties.

Thailand Aims to Attract 25.8 Million Asian Tourists in 2024
Well, that didn't take long--wondered when someone would be along with your flawed argument and looks like you're first out of the gate. Once again, I'll present the true picture. In 2019, there were 10 million+ Chinese visitors, spending around 48,000 baht each. Your highest spenders, that you covet, were from the Middle East, spending an average of 72,000 baht. Less than 100,000 in 2019. Now, I, myself, would prefer to receive 10 million checks for 48,000 baht each rather than 100,000 checks for 72,000 baht each. I think likewise for Thailand. While spending somewhat less, the huge numbers provide much more in the way of tourist revenue for Thailand. China, spending over 500 billion baht in 2019, was the number 1 country for tourist revenue that year. And, before you say all that money went back to China, the majority of Chinese tourists that year were independent tourists, not in tour groups. The dominant tourist market for Thailand has been Asia for sometime now--and likely will be in 2024, as well. That doesn't mean that high-spending tourists from all over are not important--tourists from all economic strata are valued and needed on a steady basis to fill all the hotel rooms, ranging from hostels to 5-star resorts.

Senate clarifies absence of 33 senators during last Thursday’s prime ministerial vote

Less.

Wall Street execs make first bets against Donald Trump in 2024
Well, the Wall St. execs. are not stupid. They know Trump is a two-time loser with the American voters in presidential elections. Could only garner 46.1% of the vote to weak candidate Clinton in 2016. Lost the popular vote badly but was saved by the cursed Electoral College, America's version of the Thai Senate. Did slightly better in 2020, 46.8%, but that's dismal for a sitting president with all the powers of the presidency, and against another weak candidate. He lost the popular vote once again, and even more badly than 2016, by over 7 million votes. So, two elections and he could not come anywhere near to 50% of the vote. Although he, and his supporters, make a lot of noise on social media, the majority of American voters don't like him, don't want him, and have said so twice at the ballot box. With all his legal troubles--and more to come--he's arguably a more damaged candidate, if that's possible, than 2020's version. Wall Street is, smartly, looking for a better candidate--which would probably be about any breathing American 35 years or older-- but I'm hoping he'll come up a three-time loser.

TAT Promotes Thai Soft Power via Tourism Booster Shot Campaign
Maybe someone can explain to me exactly what 'soft power' is and how it can be exported as an 'export product', according to the article. I hope it comes in a large economy size as I like to buy my soft power in bulk. Perhaps it's all a big misunderstanding and there was a typo--they really meant 'soft powder', a wonderful new laundry detergent that 'powers' through stains. As per a previous poster, total BS, and I don't mean booster shot.

Chada Thaised: Ferocious opponent of Pita’s PM bid has a dark and violence-racked history
Seems like a prime candidate for the EC to deeply probe. Just reading the article, it's my 'belief' that he's not suitable for public office. "Belief', apparently, goes a long way with the EC.

Thai tourism hit by weak Chinese market and waning local interest
The actual truth is Chinese tourists spent over 500 billion baht in Thailand in 2019, the most of any country, by far. The actual truth is the majority of them were independent travelers, not in tour groups. Sorry, but it's the truth.
