How about KM in Bangkok? I need to visit BKK time to time and it would be possible to get some training there same time.

I found few places in BKK with Google but they seems to be more focused in commercial business instead of real training.

I just emailed Thai Krav Maga and asked if they have any activity in CM. I let you know here when I get reply.

So of course I changed it and told him that if they want to come into my network, they'd better have a bloody good reason because they'll be asking me for the password!

I've heard they still have change to gain control of your router, configure it and set new admin password. Anyway if you change Web admin and telnet root passwords they problem do exclusion for you and leave your router as it is.

My ISP was able to took over my router admin and set new admin password. Looks like they have done same for their all clients. I asked them new admin acess password but they didn't want to reveal those anymore.

Thanks to member here, I got control of Web admin and telnet root.

If the unit has auto-configuration (requests config data from ISP provisioning server) it will just put the unknown passwords set by the ISP back in place.

I believe that's the issue with administrative routes access now.

RichCor you seem to be very professional with networks and possibilities. What is your opinion about these auto-config routers and practises? How about privacy and security?

I don't feel very good now as I don't know how my router is configured.

Can ISP access easily my home network trough their "special configured" router?

Is this something to do with fresh new cyber act?

One 'method' would be to contact your ISP and tell them you've been locked out of your router administration and ask them for help.

I will call ISP (TOT) today. I don't expect them to co-operate much or have proper answer to my question. Like before when I had issue the most common answer was "Cable problem in Malaysia"

I have never seen a router that couldn't be changed back to default with some kind of manual switch or button on the box. That includes the most expensive Cisco I ever used.

I really don't know about these TOT units but someone might look to see if there isn't a reset on it someplace. Worth a look unless you know it isn't there.

I did few times factory reset to router but still not able to login as admin with default factory credentials.

Does anyone know if TOT rolled out a password change on the ZTE 620 routers? I can no longer access my box with the default admin password. I called TOT to try and get the new password but all they would give me is the user account password, which will not let you change anything. I have to keep my wireless router in the DMZ but now I cannot change that setting. I told them to send a tech out to fix the problem. We will see if that happens. In the mean time, I am locked down to web browsing only.

I just realized same problem. I can't log in as admin anymore. Would be nice to know if you get your admin access back and how.

I think it's very logical you get temporary license with tourists visa and you need residency permit to renew your license to 5 yr.

I just got Sinet at home. It gives very nice (Speedtest.net) results BUT torrent speed is so bad.

I still have TOT box working as well and its torrent speed is supreme compared to Sinet. I will compare both few months and decide which one to keep.

I'd like to hear Sinet user experineces.

I renewed my DL end of last year. Went there 3 weeks before expiry. I got new licence starting from expiry. They said I need to use actual license till its expiry and then new. So they dated new license in advance.

By saying they dated your new (the "5-year" deal) license in advance, I'm assuming you are saying that the issuance date on your new license is either the expiration date of your 1-year license or, perhaps, the day after the expiration date. However, I don't know if this is regular practice or not as I got my "5-year" license several days after my one-year license expired (and the issuance date is the date I got it). I'd note that they didn't give me back my one-year licenses (maybe they just tossed them for me as they had already expired) but it sounds like you got yours back to use for 3 weeks.

Yes. Issuance date is expiry of old one. They didn't ask me return the old one on it's expiry. "Cut old on expiry date or keep it as memory". I'm sure practice vary. Still I recommend everyone to go in good advance.

Out of curiosity, were you going from the 1-year provisional license to a 5-year or renewing a 5-year license? Just asking the question as I'm not sure if it makes any difference.

1. You are required to wait until the provisionary license expires before converting to a 5 year license. There are some reports that were successful before that and perhaps with a long holiday you might get away with it.
