As a retiree in Cambodia, may I clarify an important point of interest to me as I use FB to keep in contact with family and friends around the World.

    From today's Khmer media:

"Prime Minister Hun Sen has announced that he will not shut down Facebook in the Kingdom as people need to use it." (many tourists)

    https://www.khmertimeskh.com/501317346/pm-announces-not-to-shut-down-facebook-in-cambodia/

What is not published in Thailand is his problem with Tik Tok as well:

"Prime Minister Hun has warned Cambodians of numerous fake TikTok accounts bearing his name and likeness"

    https://www.khmertimeskh.com/501317109/pm-warns-of-fake-tiktok-accounts/

and I thought the Chinese were his friends!

The thug Hun Sen doesn't want anyone exposing his evil, including his role in the 'killing fields', all opposition will be shut out !!.

Many farangs in Thailand end up hating dogs for obvious reasons. It's quite understandable.

But learning to get along with dogs in Thailand is an absolutely essential part of adapting to life here. I'd argue that if you like walking around a lot, it is even more important to learn to peacefully co-exist and deal with dogs than to speak fluent, native-like Thai.

Learning to speak Dog may be more important than learning to speak Thai if you want to relocate here!

Doctor Doolittle would be ok then.

Thai people, more than others, especially Westerners have a better understanding of the mysterious ways in which our universe works.

Damn, people in Scotland even laugh at reincarnation. I used to too, until I was hypnotically regressed on a show with Uri Geller.

For most in Thailand it's harmless fun, although like anywhere there are some who are susceptible to gambling addiction.

My sister-in-law died last year aged 31. many bought that number and it came in. Coincidence or the cosmic joker?

So much in this world we don't understand,  don't knock anything  !.
