  1. Jesus, you could cut them out of hedges here in Ireland the number that lose their lives on Quad bikes on farms! Now riding one in Thailand on a motorway just opens up a new dimension of mayhem !!! Sad and RIP .
  2. Unfortunately in Thailand this is quite a normal occurrence. Do Thai's ever stop to think that they have no safety standards at all in anything they do, I wonder ? Traffic laws are not always strictly enforced or maybe NEVER !!! It must be grim on the families for sure. Sad news. Make one wonder is that Patts to BKK mini van or bus for like two and 6 in old money really a ticket to oblivion !! ?
  3. Sleep with dogs awake with fleas ! Lol was it ever going to be a haven of relaxation ? and show me a Ruskie who will follow social norms !!!!! That's why patts is great., cause you make your own rules !!!
  4. For sure. Phuket is a gypsy's hole at best of times also.
  5. Is he a moron from africaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa i wonder
  6. Shocking news ! <deleted>e weather in Europe! Lol...... but only issue i have with Thai is you got to live with <deleted> expats who generally haven't a pot to piss in. Apart from that it's great !
  7. I wonder had the Russian insurance in first place ? Maybe that is why no pay up from insurance company.
  8. Is the shrine still open ? is there any monuments to the 20 killed. Brutal for sure the whole thing
  9. I wonder what income(marketing guru ? Work permit?) they have ? And they didn't mention schooling costs? A good story though. Will be interesting to follow
  10. lol violent street brawl !!!! and no one had a gun ???
  11. Some cash raised so far https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-david-recover-from-a-devastating-bike-accident?cdn-cache=0 Is it clear he had no insurance? Though likely .....
  12. That should give him a few huge nights out !! The brasers will chase him...
  13. In fairness that was nice....but I have seen other "efforts" and for sure MOST deceased have no wishes documented anyhow. Pattaya bay for sure a sinkhole for BKK--that we can personally gurantee anybody-Im sure you agree on that !!!!
  14. Perhaps that's why getting a job at Starbucks is considered a success in Thailand! While private schools could be an option for expats, they are often unaffordable. Is educating your children within the Thai school system truly setting them up for success in the long run I wonder or giving them no chance in life which is beyond repair or remedy? Its a hard one really !!!
  15. Some cost for sure. See this from Kevin Bell Trust : While the cost can be a major barrier for most families who have to repatriate a loved one's body from abroad – costs per repatriation can cost up to £12,000 (€14,000) depending on the circumstances of the death, local charges and hospital release costs – there is also a lot of “red tape”. But some families like a grave stone and a grave I guess. It beats maybe telling the kids/ mother wife/.. well 4 people turned up at your daddys funeral and we not sure where the ashes are now. Some drunken expat threw them in the pattaya bay sinkhole 😞
  16. lol "content creator" ---- ? another youtuber one way ticket to Thailand, can you acctually fly in on a one way these days? I guess he should buy a bar (ROFL)
  17. Plus the costs his family wil have to pick up !
  18. R.I.P and bear in mind the family left behind. The costs to retrieve him, the dealing with Thais, the insureance company (if he had insureance for such activitys and will they pay out). Welcome to fooook load of troubles. Sad
  19. Sad story for sure. RIP Though I would query this "Ms Baptiste received phone calls and emails, from Bangkok, written to her in Thai, which had incorrect dates." I mean a mistake on an email regarding the date cant really point to anything or open a can of worms or "can" it? (pun) Bloody sad either way.
  20. Wonder how long 2000 usd will last ? Can he work in Thailand ?
  21. Spoke to an agent recently. They talked about 15 percent increase in prices across the boards. How true is this ? Is anyones guess. If you in the market for hotel room size condo there is plenty about for sure in Pattaya.
  22. Yes for sure most insurance comps will try to not pay..... e.g 30 days max cover.(but i only going for 31 days) .. High blood pressure you didn't declare and got stroke....... bye bye .... license uk, no license Thai(rental company said I was OK? ) ...... check the small print or use gofundme
