  1. Hi all,  I am looking to visit Thailand pretty soon for less than 30 days, I am from a western country and don't require a visa.

Pre Covid - Just fly in.

During Covid, I had to stay in the quarantine hotel with pre arranged ride, vax certificates, covid insurance and return ticket.

I was just wondering what the current entry requirements are?  My local thai embassy website doesn't mention any entry rules.

Agreed, here it's typically galvanised steel frame and cement tiles.   I had spray foam installed in our place some 7 years ago and it's proved excellent.   We had no previous leaks anyway, but the foam has effectively locked the tiles in position.

What I like about your design is you can have recessed light fittings. The batts in my ceiling had holes cut in them for my inset lights.  I noticed a difference  after the holes were cut.  In hindsight either your option or do some drop down ceiling just for lighting.

  3. Their updated policies are quite mysterious and dont update all the webpage info, but from the banking website I can see up to 3 different numbers.

I just bought a new phone and went through the headaches, Kasikorn and TMB definitely need original sim with 3g/4g for first logon.

Bangkok bank more focuses on the correct ID info, but if you bomb 3 times you need to go into the bank to reset.  That was fun, not

Australia only require a RAT test administered at a Clinic with a certificate issued by a doc for entry now (500 Bhat ) each for pre departure testing

I agree Im returning home soon, tickets are cheap.  Australia still requires the pcr test within 72hrs of departure and no quaranteen on arrival.  Just a RAT test within 24hrs of arrival

  5. The larger appliance manuals state what size wire inside the walls and matching circuit breaker also if it needs to be on a single dedicated circuit.  Your sparky seems to be switched on with 18 circuit breakers its easy to find whats tripping or if you travel can just leave the fridge circuit on.  I noticed your adapter plug didnt have a earth pin.

The information was for UVC, but the discussion is about hard surfaces not for use on humans.  OP was about clearing"the house".

    Anyway

your link says 222nm when they did the test.

and another link here says 254nm

Im not trying to prove you wrong, just trying to get the right information out there, whilst all this is going on.  Safe health mate!

Scientists have known for decades that broad-spectrum UVC light, which has a wavelength of between 200 to 400 nanometers (nm), is highly effective at killing bacteria and viruses by destroying the molecular bonds that hold their DNA together. This conventional UV light is routinely used to decontaminate surgical equipment.

Hospitals and dental surgeries have used it for many years

No that is still not correct,  not all UV lighting is the same.

There are 3 types of UV lighting.

UVA in the spectrum of 3-400 not germ busting, i.e girls use this to harden nailpolish gel.

UVB also not considered germ busting and cancerous i.e sun.  this is why leaving items that have been in contact with virus in the sun is not killing germs

UVC in the spectrum of 250nm. safe on humans not to get cancer and what is being used in hospitals buses dentals etc.

I just thought you had some updated information about the other UV sources..

UV from sunlights is affected by the effects of ozone, and the wavelengths of UV have to be 200-400 nanometers

300-400 is UVA frequenzy is considered too high,  I am not sure if its cause it causes cancer too easy?  if it was a cancer issue and worked it would be good for masks. the nail polish gel uv lights operate at UVA 300-400 and are on shoppe for around 150.  These disposable masks theres no other way of cleaning them without loosing their effectiveness.

have bought iirc 24 policies the bulk being 450b for a lump sum of 100k and a handful of 850b 100k medical and 1 million death for the elderly family. So if any one of 24 people get sick, there is 100k payout on about 11 or 12k of premium.

Sounds like alot of raffle tickets.
