Bars in Thailand Set to Close This Week for Buddhist Holiday
Mazungu replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
555 I love the confusion over 12am and 12pm....12am is midnight....12pm is noon. The funniest sign I saw in Pattaya was for a massage shop that had a huge sign saying they were open at 11am and closed 12pm. I guess they were only open for one hour! If they are closing for 24 hours I'm guessing that means from midnight Tuesday night until midnight Wednesday night. -
‘Wife for hire’: Inside Thailand’s shocking rental marriage trend
Mazungu replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
As I was taught in Finance, you want to own an appreciating asset and you want to rent a depreciating asset. -
If Trump indeed wins his crazy sh@t won't affect me too much since I'm a wealthy white dude living in a foreign country. But I feel sorry for women, people of color and Europeans (with the hungry bear at the door).

Thanks for your concern but I think I'll be feeling pretty good tomorrow. So good in fact that I'll be able to stop taking my <removed> pills.

Frank -- you're a little behind on your news. From The Economist magazine -- "America’s economy is bigger and better than ever" https://www.economist.com/leaders/2024/10/17/americas-economy-is-bigger-and-better-than-ever

The Next President Inherits a Remarkable Economy
Mazungu replied to Mazungu's topic in Political Soapbox
His stunts my turn out to bite him. It seems real workers don't like to be mocked. "First slinging fries at McD's now this!" said the Durham, North Carolina branch of the Southern Workers Assembly, which aims to organize the unorganized working class in the U.S. South and coordinate actions across the region. "A billionaire sleazeball acting like he is a worker is beyond gross, and slap in the face to all working-class people," the group declared on social media. "Workers must organize and raise up to smash MAGA fascism!" https://www.alternet.org/trump-dump-truck/ -
The positives are out there if you look outside of FOX. And this comes from The Wall Street Journal -- a right-wing newspaper. "The Next President Inherits a Remarkable Economy." "Whoever wins the White House next week will take office with no shortage of challenges, but at least one huge asset: an economy that is putting its peers to shame. With another solid performance in the third quarter, the U.S. has grown 2.7% over the past year. It is outrunning every other major developed economy, not to mention its own historical growth rate." https://www.wsj.com/economy/the-next-president-inherits-a-remarkable-economy-7be2d059

If you don't think that's what he was doing then watch the reaction from the young men behind him. They got it.

You're being laughable now. Trump told 30,000 documented lies or untruths while in office.
-
Stop lying? And you're a Trump supporter? 555

555 Why don't you watch the full clip that was posted earlier?

I agree. I was being a little facetious linking my prior post to Nick Fuentes.

I agree What a shocker in Iowa. Between the women coming out in droves for Harris and Trump starting to lose his Neo-Nazis things may go extremely well for Harris on Tuesday. https://www.desmoinesregister.com/story/news/politics/iowa-poll/2024/11/02/iowa-poll-kamala-harris-leads-donald-trump-2024-presidential-race/75354033007/

Not looking good for Trump when he starts losing his Neo-Nazi supporters. Even Nick Fuentes is calling Trump supporters a cult. "At the Trump rallies they're yelling 'trash for Trump, trash for Trump," Fuentes said on Friday, adding that some attendees have even started dressing up as trash. Dozens of Trump supporters, including Donald Trump Jr. and Megyn Kelly, posted photos on social media of them being "trash" for Halloween. "That was the moment when I realized Trumpism was a cult, that was the moment when I realized liberals are right. That was the moment when I realized it has gone too far, it is Frankenstein's monster, we've created a Gollum. It is a problem." He said, "It is a cult," later referring to Trumpism as "a giant cult-like scam." Fuentes noted that there is a "slavish devotion of the [Trump] followers, they'll just eat up anything." https://www.newsweek.com/nick-fuentes-slams-donald-trump-supporters-it-cult-1979186

The full clip shows the same thing. The man wants to be a comedian. Let's hope he starts his comedy tour on November 6th.
-
Is this really presidential behavior? At what point does he cross a red line for you Trumpsters? Let's retire this man to a 3rd rate comedy act.

The Next President Inherits a Remarkable Economy
Mazungu replied to Mazungu's topic in Political Soapbox
Okay maybe I misspoke. I should have said he LIED. But he lies so often his cult can't discriminate the truth from his lies. He lied because by saying he wouldn't take other people's money he implied he was super rich and therefore uncorruptible. Why take other people's money if you are super rich (especially when most of his supporters come from the underclass...or as he himself says, "basement dwellers")? So maybe I didn't misspeak after all because he conned his supporters into believing something that wasn't true. -

You forgot to mention he said he wouldn't finance his campaign with other people's money. That could be the biggest con. -

Okay so Trump just passed his China tariff costs onto us Americans. And if he gets elected and imposes what he says he'll do on tariffs inflation will go through the roof. And Trumpsters are complaining about inflation now? Ha! "Its is importers — American companies — that pay tariffs, and the money goes to U.S. Treasury. Those companies, in turn, typically pass their higher costs on to their customers in the form of higher prices. That's why economists say consumers usually end up footing the bill for tariffs." -
