The petition said the app had caused their income to drop by more than 50 per cent.
A higher percentage number than Chiang Mai taxi drivers that have agreed to turn on the meter.

Locals who tried to help a one year old baby who has was locked inside an SUV are being blamed as the mother claims they have caused scratches and damage to her car.
At least the nutter wasn't able to drive over them in a fit of Thainess.

Just how fast was that bike going..... at night.... on a Thai road.....
They simply don't learn.

All the vehicles were driving on the wrong side, the which led the van to overtake on the correct side.

He told police officers that when his truck was approaching the intersection on a rather narrow stretch of road,
Presumably took place somewhere other than the photo in the OP then.

I presume the bike turned around during the accident, and it wasn't riding the wrong way up the road.
Well, 50/50.

Almost daily occurrence, wait for the nations schools to all open and watch the figures rise more.
Yeah, I was surprised to read it was a 19 year old student.
Next week the news will be 5 and 6 year olds, given the amount of morons out there that put their young children on a scooter on Thai roads.

My wife has just said it is 500 baht /child refund .her daughter has got back 1000 baht for her 2 kids.
Wonder how many nationwide scams are out there using fake receipts for kids that don't exist.
There's probably a school director in Buriram with receipts for average class sizes of 27,000.

This is Thailand, there's no such thing as a routine traffic stop.
If they stop you here they generally want money, do you drive?
I drive everyday, either on a motorbike or in my car. In my city there are numerous police stops. I get flagged over the smae as everyone else, I show my 5 year Thai Driving License, get a salute and off I go.
Every single time.

A few generations ago they would have been grooming him, eating his fleas.
Now, they're demanding his Driving License??

Bangkok along the BTS line would be a better investment than Pattaya.
Last time I went to Pattaya we stayed in a condo and about 70% of the units were empty, except for the banners and signs in Russian offering them for sale or rent.

Perhaps the Thais could improve their services. Offer a better, safer, more efficient customer-satisfaction based service, and put them out of business that way.

I didn't realise that Thais were that adventurous, I wouldn't expect to bump into one in Israel.

Your wife (you) pay them the money that was agreed.
If you are sure the whole story is legit and not BS from the wife and/or her (extended) family putting her up to it.
Swallow your pride or whatever.
Fight it and risk losing the house, or your life or the life of someone else involved.
Then start looking at what sort of 'loving partner' would do that behind your back.
