Referring back to this Credit card chargeback etc have just been on all 3 of the main agents I personally use
All payments are guaranteed no matter how funds are received under their inclusive compensation schemes should an airline go belly up
I do recall in the past it was a £2 additional cost for the peace of mind. Now its inclusive but no matter what you'll get a full refund if an airline went bankrupt
If those 3 are covered I suspect all agents are now.
I have been on an airline that went belly up Phuket Air on their short lived Bangkok to Gatwick service but had completed the trip before it was grounded indefinately at Gatwick

If you pay by credit card you are not covered by the refund rules if the airline defaults as you are using an intermediary. If you book direct with the supplier, the airline, you are fully covered.
Yes move the goalposts......try answering the points I made

Pointless using agents, book direct is always better, unless you really need to save 20 quid
Pointless using agents yes ok if you say so !!
£20 lol multiply that many times (on average).....in addition you book direct with airline and have a problem you're on your own
Let the agent go into bat for you and watch the difference the same agent of course that provides multiple bookings daily to all the same airlines......another internet myth is if you book with agent you cant contact the airline yourself...absolute utter bollacks proven to myself many times
Go back on this thread to where I mention Oman air experience......if I had booked direct that day I simply would not have flown

Well I did ask them. They both said it was "very average" and that the IFE was appalling with a lack of selection, they couldn't believe how bad that was. But service was ok.Appalling it was virtually non existant
As I said earlier in thread certainly over 500 sectors involving London Bangkok and that flight was the worst ever
When you consider of the 31 airlines I've flown solely on this route (maybe 32 now after China Eastern) include Biman Lot Aeroflot Tarom Balken even China Eastern thats some statement of how shight it was

So, no knowledge of their cabin crew minimum staffing levels.
Thought so.
I'll go again and answer you I was in the rear economy cabin big section obviously. No pre food snacks or drinks....no real issue to be fair some airlines have stopped it anyway but somewhat surprised to be fair on a national carrier on its "premier" route
Food comes out on aisle section opposite us, Start serving I wasnt the only one looking around thinking wheres our side !! Guy on centre section but on our aisle side asks across across wheres our flight attendants (re food)
Polite response from one of the two girls (sorry sir we are short crewed tonight)
They wind themselves down the front of the cabin reverse back up obviously reload on food and start on our aisle

That's Christmas for you.
Anyway, since you seem to know these things, what's their minimum staffing numbers anyway and how many did they have on your flight?
Nothing to do with Christmas lol............seriously I'd be here for hours detailing how bad it was
One example geezer beside me pressed overhead buzzer few hours into flight . Eventually some snarling miserable looking bint turned up and he asked for an orange juice very politely,,,,
Her response
"At the back go and help yourself"
Shocking disgusting absolutely never again

Quite unusual. I would have thought normal people would know they had a booger in their nose without needing to see it.
Sorry
Seriously I've got to take the offered bait here
What in the name of all thats holy is a Booger ??

Some people are extremely photogenic and others are complete opposite no matter what they look like to start with
I have some photos of current girlfriend I took myself so know they are "untouched" yet when I look at them I think no she doesnt quite look that good !
Bizarre I agree

Flew Bangkok London Christmas day on Thai
Simply has to be the worst flight in around 500 sectors involvong London to Bangkok via hubs or direct
Awful absolutely shocking. Would take me half an hour to type why
Didnt even have the minimum amount of flight attendants on duty

Quit scratching your head and start using it.
Look at the bit I circled in red on your screenshot when I re-posted it. It couldn't be clearer and says "British Airways".
The 21:25 departure is the BA timing. Norse will depart LGW at 16:00.
and you're not listening and you can circle what you want
I repeat I was on the NORSE website not Skyscanner or any others agents for that matter
Can only assume they are setiing up Codeshare for whatever reason
I'll reverse your accusation
I go on British Aiways own website,,,,now am I expected to view Norse airlines !! Of course not

I did that drive back in 2007 from Lamtamanchai to CM (about 20 kms from Buriram)
I cannot tell you how long that drive is.....it was before sat navs in Thailand so we were using maps......I said to her we cant be that far away and 5 minutes later big signpost comes up
Chang Mai 398 kms 😂
Its a very very very long drive and dont recommend it even with an overnight stop

You deal with it like any mature person would. Respectfully.
If the other person were 'so obese' they were overflowing uncomfortably into my seat, I'd quietly speak with the flight attendants and ask if there was a seat I could be moved to with more space.
There you go the only other proper answer to the OP

But I am only interested in one thing, as someone who has never had a problem with fat people taking up part of my seat, I just want to know what you would do if you were on a flight for about 12 hour's and a very fat person was taking up a part of your seat especially if you were a 6ft tall person weighing around 78 Ks like me.
Simple answer
You very politely explain the issue to the lead flight attendant and then promptly shut your mouth
Dont add any more conversation
Now they'll obviously try and find you another aisle seat (if that was your original seat) but if they cant they have only one option and thats move you to Biz

Just did a test booking for November 2025. Return in economy classic was just £499. Pretty good fare (and sensible departure/arrival times too). Even cheaper if not taking any checked baggage. Brace for the influx of "quality tourists" 🙂 Flights are only 3 days per week as presently available. Thats still about 1,000 passengers per week.
i've just gone their own website quite bizarre
Nothing comes up for Gatwick Bangkok but up cme air china china eastern and a host of others
No matter what dates I put in for November nothing came up

They’re just losing a lot of money on people not having to apply for a tourist visa. They could care less about criminals, its always about the money in Thailand.
Which is exactly what I have said from outset but too many took offence
Doubless they'll be sending their apologies in the post along with a cheque for Father Rays foundation
On an aside after last entry with no visa and getting questioned at immigration I had decided to go back to getting Evisas anyway

A few weeks ago I was happy as Larry.
I cashed in big time in hong kong, was in great shape and had a fresh outlook on life.
Now i'm back to my old, miserable self.
Mrs. Smith is on my case 24/7,
I keep thinking about cracking open a beer but what good is that going to do, especially when mixed with meds?
I actually did that once and almost died.
very dangerous.
So I am sat here, Mr. Misery guts, living in a country I can't stand, surrounded by people/culture that I never will understand.
I suppose it is what it is.
regards,
bob.
Have you ever considered a career in the Church.....
I hear the hessian underclothing is wonderfully soothing on the cluster

Go and do your own work fella am not here to run errands for you
Go to any of the major booking agent sites and read yourself. In the interim dont selectively edit my posts and particulary in this instance. You've deliberately edited it to make it appear doubtful
