  1. Re: kids throwing tantrums. I have done this - and it worked. Get up, go to the child, and tell them in a loud voice to "Shut the Hell Up" This gets the parents into the act, and they get told the same thing. Control your children. Unable - then leave. At times I have even received applause. Peace and Harmony restored.

  5. If your owners manual says it is E85 compliant. Most new models are multi fuel. As all cars are different, there are no hard and fast rules. You will have to try the different fuels out, and determine a cost per Km or cost per 100 Km with each of them, doing the type or driving you do, where you live. Then you can decide which fuel suits your needs the best.
  6. Been using Nivea Sun SPF50+PA++++ for almost 20 years. Made in Bangna-Trad Not one of the chemicals listed in it.
  7. When riding I find it is guys in Vios, City, Almera, Swift, etc - all the econoboxes - who drive the worst - Hi speed, weaving in and out, pass you with no room. on a solid line, uphill around corners. Wanna Be fast car owners
  8. Agreed. There is a reason that the OEM recommends tire pressures. I run mine a little less than recommended usually - experiment and see what works best for me. Have an IR temp gauge so takes seconds to check hot pressures. Hiway car gets new boots at 50% wear. But I run it fast. Back in my bike racing days we went by the 10% rule - diff between cold and hot should be 10%. Tires come a LONG way since then
  9. “Selfishness is not living as one wishes to live, it is asking others to live as one wishes to live. And unselfishness is letting other people's lives alone, not interfering with them. Selfishness always aims at creating around it an absolute uniformity of type. Unselfishness recognizes infinite variety of type as a delightful thing, accepts it, acquiesces in it, enjoys it. It is not selfish to think for oneself. A man who does not think for himself does not think at all. It is grossly selfish to require of one's neighbor that he should think in the same way, and hold the same opinions. Why should he? If he can think, he will probably think differently. If he cannot think, it is monstrous to require thought of any kind from him. A red rose is not selfish because it wants to be a red rose. It would be horribly selfish if it wanted all the other flowers in the garden to be both red and roses.” ― Oscar Wilde, The Soul of Man and Prison Writings

  12. That is what severity means in my post - which you quoted.
  13. And how are they "Allowing" their staff to spread Covid ? Vaccine will not stop it. Maybe remove all the people from said restaurant - staff and customers. Bad for business that
  14. The amount - no The severity - yes The vaccine does not kill covid - so people can still spread it, people can still catch it. How hard is this to understand ? For some people it seems very hard
  15. The vaccine only benefits the person getting it. It does not protect people they come in contact with. So all this "vaccinated staff" is a complete waste of time. The staff can STILL give covid to customers, and vice versa.
  16. We all know that the AMA is also in bed with Big Pharma Doctors get kick backs for giving drugs to their patients - Hardly a ringing endorsement for impartiality - or Ethics. Quite the opposite

  18. That is not the law in Thailand - some western country maybe views it like this. Defamation in Thailand Defamation in Thailand may be in form of slander or libel. Incidents of defamation may occur in a business, political, or commercial context. In Thailand, unlike many Western jurisdictions, defamation may be both a criminal offense and/or a civil offense. Defamation is a criminal offense in accordance with sections 326 -333 of the Thai Criminal Code. This means that under Thai law, a person convicted of defamation charges may be subject to imprisonment. There are two kinds of defamation: 1) Simple defamation — Whoever imputes anything, to the other person before a third person, in a manner likely to impair the reputation of such other person or to expose such other person to be hated or scorned. 2) Libel — document publication, drawing, painting, cinematography, film, picture or letters made visible by any means, or any other recording instruments, recording picture or letters, or by broadcasting or spreading picture, or by propagation by any other means. The burden of proof lies on the defendant to prove that his statements are true. The defense that the defendant did not know his statements to be false is not acceptable in Thailand. If found guilty of an offense, a sentence of up to two years imprisonment. Defamation can also be a civil offense under section 423 of the Thai Civil and Commercial Code. If found guilty, then the offender maybe ordered to pay a fine. http://www.chaninatandleeds.com/guide/defamation.html
