  1. I would try BKK and triple check the information on the DS-160 for accuracy.

Make sure your wife understands ALL of the information on the DS-160 and then triple check it again.

My GF applied there and received a 10 year B2 Visa right out of the gate. Not much in the bank, owned her own business and has two kids. The following year we applied for the kids and got 10 year B2s for both of them without any problems.

We have traveled back several times in the past 6 years, with not much more than a few simple questions asked both in HNL and SEA. As a matter of fact, I would say the immigration staff have been quite friendly and helpful.

Thai friend had personal interview US Embassy, Bangkok Monday 23 July for US tourist Visa. Asked 3 easy, simple questions in less than 3 minuets: why? (To see sights), how long? (Less than 3 was.), where will you stay? (Will travel with same sex Thai friend, living in US). Told would be notified by phone and mail. Nothing yet. What to expect?

If the US Embassy kept your friends passport, then they should receive it via mail in a week or so with the visa. If they left the Embassy with their passport they will not be getting a visa.

  3. Hello computer and internet geniuses.

I am getting error “502 Bad Gateway nginx”while trying to connect to

    https://mynorthwest.com/

I am running Win 10 and have tried connecting with IE 11 and Edge. However, if I connect through “Betternet” VPN I can connect, but that is slow and a pain in the backside. I have been going to this website daily for years without any problems.

I have cleared cookies, flushed DNS, shutdown router and PC for 10 minutes, run CCleaner and Glary with no luck.

    Any ideas?

    Any help is much appreciated.

  4. I'll assume at this point you have a “Retirement Extension” based on a visa of some sort, probably an “O”. You may or may not be able to purchase a “Re-Entry Permit TM 8” depending on your airport and or time of day. It is best to fill out the TM 8 and present it to your local immigration office prior to departure. Upon returning to Thailand you will fill out the “visa number” section of your arrival card (TM6 which you will get on the plane) with the “Re-entry Permit” number.

You can download a copy of the Re-Entry Permit here:

You'll get submerged for offering such an outrageous solution! ? No, not really.

Yes, these kind of solutions are all good. However I think there was another writer, who suggested it first, using valium to calm down the kids to avoid possible panicking during the transfer.

He was wandering if drugs would have adverse effects to people under pressure.

The aim is to get the boys back to safety.

Let's not forget, that there is a traffic from the cave entrance to the location the boys have been found. There is people moving between these two location to and back.

Those people are experienced cave divers, but they are also delivering food as well as a medical doctor, who is likely a cace diver. Finding the boys was the part of the most extreme cave divers, supplying them with good and less experienced cave diving people, is far less demanding.

If a medical doctor can be delivered to the cave, could the boys be delivered outside as well?

Thank you for your kind response to my post.

A qualified anesthetist and or a Divers Med Tech could prescribe the dose for each boy and have the Navy Seal Medic administer it.

This site has a good update of events from the beginning with some good drawing diagrams showing difficulty with the rescue. Some spots the divers have to dismount their oxygen tanks and before they can squeeze through a spot.

Excellent news source without the bickering peanut gallery. Thanks.
