Nice photo, maybe a little bit too dark ( on my laptop )
A plate from Bangkok; but what is the " brand " of this car ?
Thank you Assurancetourix. I tend to prefer a slightly moody look to my photographs and so i generally put quite a vignette on them and darken the image so as too achieve this. Also the monitor i
use is calibrated using the Datacolour Spyder Elite software, so whilst the image may look ok on my monitor it may not look the same on others. All down to personal preference i suppose. As for the car i have no idea what make it is but i do love the Nescafe tin keeping the hood open

Nice light and process. HDR I presume.
Thank you. This a single RAW shot done in Lightroom and Capture One using the brushes so not really HDR although these two programs can bring out a huge amount of detail. Added a colour filter to emphasise the late afternoon light.

As someone who is considering moving to Thailand in the future I would like to thank anyone who has posted a valid reply to this thread. Very informative. On the other hand I have no idea why some people find it so difficult to keep to the thread topic and feel it is their duty to comment on someone else's genuine reply to the thread.

TP,what software are you using to edit your pics?
Going to have to try and get up to Pai myself one day, looks amazing!!!
At the moment I'm using Fotor and Picassa.
Fotor has got more options and capabilities.
I have downloaded lightroom and Gimp that ASTX kindly gave me the link.
I keep trying to learn how to use lightroom but I had no luck up to now.
I get frustrated with my inability to use it and go back to Fotor.
I know Youtube is my friend but I'm fed up watching different people blabbering about what lightroom can give me and not how to use the basic functions.
May be haven't found the right tutorial.
I do want to learn how to use lightroom because it will give me the option to lighten or darken certain parts of my pictures.
Especially faces that Fotor hasn't got that that capability.
But slowly, I'm getting there........give me sometime and I will surprise you.
Hi TP1. If you type in Anthony Morganti Lightroom into Youtube and start at video 1 and work your way through. He starts with the basics so you can be up and running very quickly. Hope this helps
