If a one way ticket from Bangkok to Phuket is cheaper than a taxi ride from Phuket airport to a destination within the island, then there must be something definitely wrong.

It's a common day and night nuisance here in Phuket and it has passed a level of "enough is enough" a long long time ago. Unfortunately, not one policeman to be seen at night. Sure, we did some weird things as kids, but we always had respect of our parents and police........ The fines were quite harsh, I might add.

Yes, then they would have made me wait for 2 hours until someone would have come to take swab. I decided to come back the next day and the lady at the reception said it was fine to do so (!). Mind you, I was infected.

I paid THB 3.500 at Siriroj Bangkok Hospital in Phuket. This was the normal rate. After 4PM slightly higher, only THB 4,900. ????????

One must not forget, that retirees with small pensions also contribute their fair share into Thai society. They may not stay in expensive condos, hotels etc., but paying rent for a small room in a family run business and therefore helping people that are truly in need of a little income.
