Not sure of where I found this but it summarizes your story.

Btw, have you asked here to break up with her ex? And block his phone calls and messages?

If she does, then.... Maybe you can (still) trust her. Just maybe.

It is 5k baht for the visa fee. They do not ask for financial proof.

Savannakhet is a fantastic place to renew visas.

btw, it's there that I caught a form of typhus. It's also there I had one of the best seafood platters close to / opposite the bus terminal. cross the street where Leader cyber cafe and Avalon residence are located. See attached

One issue he needs to watch out for is the possibility that the airline check in at KL may want to see a confirmed onward flight out of Thailand within 30 days.

As Ubonjoe noted >>>  by air there is no limit

and right, the OP would not want to spend that much time in a bus.
Actually, OP was more concerned about travel history impacting current status.

Now, this useful link will meet the requirement of an elusive onward flight out of Thailand within 30 days:

  4. I want to cross the border with Laos at Savannakhet , may visit Vientiane but not stay over a week.

    Then get back to Thailand.

Question is: May I get a 30 day visa as a Canadian citizen at Thai Consulate in Vientiane if I use the same way back (i.e. the bridge at Savannakhet?

If I want to skip Vientiane, am I getting a 30-day or 15-day visa on my Canadian passport?

The latest info I had about cost of Lao visa is 1500 Bahts.

I can also extend my visa for one-month in Thailand but it's more 'exotic' to cross the bridge!

    Thanks in Advance.

No, only an "Asian Tour" :)

And I loved every one of them, one Korean lady turned my proposal down, twice :(

Of all my gf's, Korean women were the best by far. Miss them - at least some aspect of the relationship.

yes , rule number 1 .  never spend anything here that you carnt afford to loose .

    Yes rule # 1.

You may research initial company registration and what your role was then, the number of shares, etc.

And when was the company closed.

And why you were not advised about company closure. Did you change anything such as address, tel #, etc.?

You'll have a better idea of why he could get away with it.

About new company: you have no right on it, bad news.

Now if you're ultimately considering taking a lawyer, you should add up lawyer's expenses.

  7. As many noted, Saigon (aka HoChiMinh City, HCMC) is polluted.

Thousands of scooters and motorcycles in the streets spew exhaust fumes and carbon monoxide.

Crossing a street is dangerous too.

If you really want to live there and close to the center, District 1, is the place.

District 2, cross the river, is quiet (Thau Dien)

I heard Hanoi is more laid back.

But if you want to live out of these cities, you have a choice between Da Nang, Nha Trang, and Hue.

I especially like Hue, the citadel, you literally 'live in a postcard'
