Since there’s rise in fake vaccine an expatriate is skeptical of the vaccine that’s being dispensed. He says it would be awesome, if the vaccine could be taken at his home consulate office. Is that crazy or what?

I would take the Chinese Vaccine in a New York second if it meant that I didn't have to quarantine after traveling internationally, no longer have to wear a mask and live a normal life. I don't care if it had an efficacy of 1%.
right you will not need to wear mask ever as veggie or in the grave where you maybe after the Chinese vaccine. In addition, your skin could turn African black like the two Chinese doctors in Wuhan.- 1

There’s a second wave in some places in China. Qingdao city is lowdown and 11 millions are being tested. A place in Guangzhou has a new outbreak and is under lockdown with ongoing testing. Perhaps more cities will be lockdown soon since millions of Chinese just returned home from their annual fall festivities holiday.

Need suggestions for my friend’s son. He was living in China, studied Chinese, taught English, online tradings, returned home due to the lockdowns, left behind his savings account equivalent balance: €27000. He has WeChat wallet and Alipay. There’s an annual ATM limit of 15,000, how to empty the account without returning to China?

New York is not in Thailand.
Even in Thailand not all banks require a withdrawal to update bank book.
I applied at the NYC Thai embassy about 2 year ago:
walk-in CM hospital out patient to get medical report for about 1000bth.
purchased an online police record from PA for $15; walked into my US bank requested statement print out with stamped.
Dropped off before noon and pickup next day. There were no waiting for dropping off or pickup. The medical report was less than 3 months, police record and bank statements were within 7 days.- 1

I am surprised the ship has not gone to Sihanoukville, Cambodia, where they would have been welcomed personally by Hun Sen... shaking hands with all of them as they stepped off....
They may have read your brilliant comments. Cambodia has approved the ship to dock at their port in Sihanoukville. Passengers will intransit via Phonm Penh international airport to fly home.
i bet Cambodia is lying about having only one case COID-19. Probably no testing being done and death is labeled as pneumonia. They’re trying to appease China, if and when this mess is over China will be too broken to flex its muscles.

My friend got a tourist visa in KL today. She had all the required documentation on the checklist:
in and out flight tickets
hotel reservation for duration of stay in Thailand
copy of passport information page
bank statement ( wasn’t on the required checklist but they took it anyway)
checklist and completed visa form (bring your own visa form or buy it from a guy selling it from his car).
arrived at 8:15 and received queue #52
once the office opened at 9am, it took her 15 minutes.
retuned next day and joined queue of 15 people. Within 5 minutes pickup visa.
Noted*
she used the fist copy shop in the hostel across the street. There’re two other copy shops down the hall. I hope the other copy shops are cheaper because she paid 42RM for everything.
She had 5 tourist visa pus 5 VE since 2015.

Today, I arrived on a international flight at BKK to collect my bag and boarded a flight to Vietnam. The departure IO asked me, why I’m going to Vietnam? I thought that was a strange question and frankly none of his business. Is this normal?
It is a lot of hassle to transfer if the luggage isn’t checked through.

Sadly ! suspect the colour of your skin ( i am only surmising here dont be offended)had a great of bearing on the decision
Excuse me! Keep your narrow minded opinion privately. In NYC, some of the most beautiful girls I have met are from the Caribbean. There’re many Whites and Chinese living there for centuries.

$60 fee for US passport. That adds up for a large family. Last year, I recalled someone posted that he paid $20. I wish I had saved that post. I wish I know how to search the old post.

Can someone please recommend a reputable VIETNAM's visa agent? We have US passport and shall travel there next month.

My single entry visa shall expire on February 28th. I shall apply for an extension. Does anyone know the date of expiration for the extension?

You got denied cause you're protrump. I would denied you too based on that. Haha
I don't think it's race related. It's that your were living here and they suspected you're working here.
the first few posters are really mean. I had some colleagues who were White from Afghan and I know quite a few Whites from there.

The last time I was there I saw agent looking for busy outside the embassy. I took one them business card but have since misplaced it. I didnt see any Chinese among the applicants but at pickup many agents hauling away very huge tin suitcases of Passports.

Don't assume it cost a lot at major hospitals because it only cost 245bht at the most expensive hospital in CM.

Your local police department will issue you a proof of criminal history for a few bucks. $10 in my case.
Your State Bureau of Investigation will also give you a background record check online downloadable in PDF format for download for a few bucks. $8.95 in my case.
I have it on solid word from a lady that does this stuff all the time that either document is sufficient. They just want to know if you've been arrested and thrown in jail for serious things.
Which state is that?
Your state is definitely less complicated than VA requirement need applicant's signature notarize then wait 15 days for the police record.

It depends. My recent experience was 14 days...but that was over the Songkran Holiday so perhaps they slowed down a bit even in NY.
14 days by mail sounds normal. I want to drop off my application and pickup hopefully next day.

Can someone please tell me how many days to get an O-A in NYC?
D.C website says 5 days but I'm not sure about NYC.
-
I am in Thailand and going back to get an O-A in D.C. Since I'll stay 2weeks I worry about getting all my documents in time. My Police state records require fill out print, sign and mail. Is it possible to use a police record from a state I used to live in that can be obtained online?
I read it's best to use the visa shortly after obtaining but I'll not enter Thailand until 3 months later.

Today, we pickup our 60-days visa. It takes total of 3-days. Drop-off before 12:30 and pickup at 4:30pm to 5pm on the third day.
They required the following:
Bank statement printout less than 3-months
airline ticket in and out of Thailand (drop-off window asked me why my ticket was 65-days. I said it was an error. I'll change it.)
2 white background photos
copy of Chinese visa and arrival stamp ( copy store across the street cost 1yen/rmb)
Drop-off window didn't look in our passport nor did he seem to check the documents carefully. It was very easy process. Arrive, take a number, sit and wait for it to call. To pickup, we queue in front of window with our pickup receipt to collect passport with new 60days visa. They don't use the stickers but a stamp that took up the whole page. Dropped off takes about 2 hours and pickup maybe 20 minutes.
My friend had a new passport with one visa and one exempt but spent 9months a year in Thailand over the past 2.5 years.
i was a bit shocked to see Chinese tour agents pulling 30inches suitcase full of passports.

When did you apply and did the embassy accept a medical certificate from Thailand?
I see no where on the medical form that the doctor has to be dwithin the country of applying. So they do accept Thailand medical certificate.
-
Anyone knows if they will accept 90-days on-ward flight ticket for 60-days tourist visa?

How many hours is required in Laos to obtain Visa Exemption at the border? I would rather not stay overnight if no time for SETV.

Anyone know if US passport can apply for the temporary residence visa at the Mexican Embassy in Bangkok? I heard mixed reviews that it has to be done in home country. They didn’t rely to email.
