A long time ago, in a country far away, I was driving BMW. Once I had an accident, my fault, and I needed a new front fender.
I went out with a friend to several scrapyards which sold 2nd hand car parts.
They had lots of BMW parts. Lots of parts for the rear of the cars, but very few for the front. Now what could be the reason... ;)
The reason is because a (front engine) car with front end damage (vs rear) is more likely to be deemed a total loss by the insurance company and subsequently sent to the salvage yard.
If it was hit in the rear, the repairs will be much less expensive and fewer potential headaches/hidden damage etc.

Must be a British thing. It’s different in America.

The car brand with the lowest accident rate. This may come as a surprise: of all car makes, Porsche is the brand with the lowest rate of accidents. In fact, just 8.62 out of every 100 Porsche drivers have an at-fault accident on their record. That means Porsche motorists cause accidents 22 percent less often than the average United States driver. Even the Porsche model with the highest rate of accidents, the Porsche Boxster ( 9.89 per 100 drivers), still has a rate 10 percent lower than average.

Then its, "Have you ever driven the CM to Pai road?" I have a number of times. And almost always I've been put in uncomfortable positions by van drivers and other cars, mostly those who are driving the mountain roads using both lanes and coming around blind corner at speed in the oncoming lane, or worse, passing someone.I’ve ridden (125cc motorbike), driven (sports car), and also taken a minivan on the CM to Pai Road and as you say…too many uncomfortable moments with oncoming drivers. What could have been a fun ride/drive was more of a white knuckler.
In my opinion, there is no safe way to travel that road. I felt the least afraid on the motorbike as I could just putt along slowly and stay far to the side of the road.
If I were to go to Pai again, I’d probably come in the back way from Maehongson.

Make the forum “pay 4 play”
฿50 per topic started฿5 per comment
Hopefully, it might prevent
1. Irrelevant off topic one line quips
2. People constantly policing others for spelling/grammar/opinions
3. People beating a dead horse in debates.
4. Asking stupid questions that are far more easily googled.

Bangkok Beef Facebook group. Send Greg Lange a message with your order. He’s the beef kingpin for sure. You will laugh at all the other offerings after seeing his beef and prices.
here’s the current list of beef. You’ll be pleasantly surprised.

I wouldn’t. Up to You.

Not sure why everybody rags on Bignoks threads. Most of what he says is rather deep. Just have to be able to read between the lines. Simpletons and midwits won’t get it.
Not sure if one needs to reach a state of boredom in order to reflect.
People who get bored are people who need to be entertained. Sometimes it’s good to keep busy. Sometimes it’s good to enjoy the bliss of not having to do anything.

What was the diagnosis? Do you have a sinus infection? I would assume so as you mention pain above the eyes (you don’t say exactly where so I can’t determine if ethmoid or frontal.
What did the scopes show? Were they those old metal ones or the modern fiber optic endoscopes?
Did you have a ct scan or mri done?
Antibiotics and “sprays”…..what kind of sprays? Am I correct in assuming fluticasone etc rather than oxymetazoline?
I’ve been through the ENT merry-go-round more than once and rather than looking for the root cause and addressing that, I placed too much faith in ENTs. 2 surgeries later, I now have empty nose syndrome.
Go see a functional practitioner before any kind of surgery. They might seem “hokey” for those who only know allopathic medicine (which definitely has its time and place), but they will work with you to figure out the why. Then, you can work on that.
As far as different sprays etc. nothing has been mentioned above that I haven’t already tried. There are many other options both spray and rinse. I prefer rinsing with a Neil-med type bottle as sprays don’t get into the sinuses well enough. They (sprays) are ok for management if you have chronic issues or if you feel something coming on, but at the later stage (full blown infection) it’ll feel like it’s helping but any improvement will fizzle out.
One thing to address, if it is an infection and has been going on for some time, is biofilms.

I was froze for a minute his friends laughing with one pulling out his phone to record
Suddenly this guy gets more violent and grabs my shirt to pull it off me over my head
I used my right hand and swing it down which didn't do much good but off balance is ,no one came to help

Only you will know what you are talking about here but I'm happy that somebody does!
If you wish to debate Thai Consumer Lending and Household Debt levels, I'll try to engage with you, if you don't, that's fine too. But if you want to personalise these discussions, I have no interest in anything you have to say, I imagine your next post will tell me which it is going to be.
Now, I gave you a simple and easy to understand example to support what I wrote and I've demonstrated how CL as percentage of GDP changes, based on changes to GDP levels and based on volatile exchange rates. You on the other hand have posted a link and screen shot showing data that can't possibly be known, data that increases almost uniformly YoY......hint, lending amounts do not behave that way YoY! I've also posted a link to SCB confirming what I wrote and that CL's as a percentage of GDP do indeed change, based on the rise and fall of GDP. Finally, I've also provided commentary from BOT demonstrating that even they do not understand the full extent of Consumer Debt and they keep adding to it, as new types of consumer debt are discovered.

The data and the graphs are there for anyone to see, individuals can decide what they think is correct or otherwise. But you and me are done here, you don't appear to want to debate, rather you want to impose what you think on others. Bye.
I post facts which I back up. You post spin and obfuscation just like you have done under all your other prior screen names which you either ditched after being called out so many times….or were banned.
You can feel free to put me on ignore….you always threatened that in the past. But for some reason….you never do.
Replies on a notecard please.

I've already agreed that overall debt has likely increased.
The only debt that can be accurately measured is that via the official channels. Unofficial borrowing from unauthorised sources such as loan sharks can't be accurately measured hence trying to calculate the percentages you suggest is not possible. But what can be done is consumer lending via the official channels can be measured against GDP, over the past four years, I very much doubt that bank/finance company lending has increased at all during that period. Do I want to prove it, do I want to have fun? I have no need but if you want to, go for it.
The bottom line is that your original post was wrong.
That is why I used the statista numbers which do not include “informal lending” or any other “unofficial borrowing from unauthorized sources such as loan sharks”. They have other areas where they estimate “shadow economies”
But you keep bringing that up. Obfuscate much?
Now….instead of your cherry picked 4 year timeline….try a 5 year or a 10 year.
I’ve included a screenshot from your source because
1. Most people won’t click on your link and just take whatever you say at face value and
2. The picture shows just how cherry-picked your numbers are. It’s laughable.

Just now, Mike Lister said:
Yes I agree that overall Household Debt has likely increased but I qualified the term and said, Consumer Lending which is mainly bank and finance house lending. Informal lending is something else entirely and I have no figures on what that 19.8% might really be, neither I suspect does anyone else other than via sampling and estimation. Bottom line is that the only measurable statistics are from Consumer Lending via the official lending route, which is what I intended at the outset.
You said
“Household debt or consumer lending has barely changed”
The article is about debt. It’s simple.
But….I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt and we’ll just use the Statista figures for debt and the Trading Economics for GDP.
4 years (2019-2022)
GDP goes from 544 to 495. A drop of 9%
Debt goes from 13.5 to 15.1 An increase of 11.85%
Now….it is your turn to do the math and using those figures, show me the debt to gdp ratio. Remember….there are 2 different currencies (gdp is in dollars and debt is in baht) and you will also have to account for the change in exchange rates over that period.
have fun.

20 minutes ago, Mike Lister said:Household debt or consumer lending has barely changed, the problem is that GDP has fallen from USD bill 543 to USD 494 bill over the past four years hence the percentage of debt to GDP is higher.
Actually it has changed substantially.
“According to Surapol Opasatien, CEO of the National Credit Bureau, the current total household debt stands at 17.62 trillion baht”
https://www.nationthailand.com/business/banking-finance/40030064#
“Household debts have grown by 11.5% this year, and a Thai household is now 559,408 baht in debt, on average. 80.2% of the debt amount may be attributed to formal lending, and 19.8% involves informal lending, according to a NNT report.”

In America a payout for something like this could very well also be for one million...........One million dollars that is....
Payouts for terrible things in Thailand also very often seem to be for one million.......One million baht that is........
One million baht is a whopping 1/30th of 1 million dollars.......
The US already has something like this although it is administered by the individual states and is capped. The average cap is about US$25,000 (twenty five thousand dollars). It might or might not be available to foreign tourists depending on the particular circumstance.

Western vs Asian sizing…
WRT Uniqlo…even though it’s a different style…here is a size comparison photo between a Ralph Lauren T-shirt purchased from the Ralph Lauren website in the US. (size XL Tall (not XL Big)) and a Uniqlo XL purchased in the store in BKK. Even the RL slim fit shirts are like tents compared to Uniqlo.

Really? East Coast US you are paying at least $120 for 90 minutes in an average place not including tip nor any of the extra amenities, such as hot tea, private shower, and mango sticky rice afterwards.
Many places for $20-40/hour all over the greater LA/SFV/SGV/OC area. Most places will also offer early bird discounts (before 2pm) The $20 massages are generally done in large communal rooms with 50 people at once.
