I have a Non O 90 day visa from CW. I took the exact documents today to get a one year extension. Head man said no because the owner’s assistant put her name as the owner on the TM30 and signed the TM 30. This TM 30 was filed almost one year. Head guy insists the owner fill out a new TM 30 and he mist TM 30 document and not his executive assistant. they would not let file a new TM 30 in my name. I called the owner’s assistant and she spoke with them and they said have the owner fill out a TM 30 for me and sign it himself and I have to come back to CW for an extension when that is done. I really think they just want to work with agents. They don’t like people doing their own extensions. This was the same TM 30 I used for my 90 day Non O and for a residence certificate. . Sometimes the extension people at CW are nice. But the head man was really unfriendly today and really upset with the lady that pre checked my documents and me and the owner’s executive assistant. I hope he does not act like this on a regular basis. TIT

Applying For Non-O Visa
Wake Up replied to allane's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I converted to a non O at Cw from visa exempt entry. I previously had extensions of stay before I came back to Thailand visa exempt. CW did not require proof that my 800 K came from abroad. Probably because my bank account has been open for over a year. You should not have a problem at CW. Take care -
As a USA lawyer lying to a Judge is the worst thing a lawyer can do. Allowing clients to commit perjury in a deposition when you know the client is lying is the second worst thing you can do. I am happy Old Dominion is litigating this case to show the world the truth about Fox News, its anchors, executives and Murdoch. Fox News is a fraud machine that has truly damaged the USA.

I was wrong about this information and you do not leave your passport at CW for two weeks. My apologies to everyone ???? -

My apologies to DrJack and everyone. I am at CW and the immigration lady claimed she never kept my passport. I know she did but I must now get a new usa passport. I am 100 percent sure it was the chief immigration lady at the C1-1 counter but nothing I can do but report my passport stolen. -
Visa Extension - Renewal Problem

Been at least the last two years. I helped a friend get a 90 day non O at Cw in 2021 and they held his passport two weeks. I helped a friend get a 90 day non O six months ago and they held his passport two weeks. I did mine two weeks ago and they held my passport. Before 2021 I don’t know. -
Visa Extension - Renewal Problem

You are one of the visa and extension experts on this forum. Every person I know that applies for a non O visa at CW must leave their passport there for two weeks to get the visa. Not for extensions. But to get the actual non O 90 day visa you must leave your passport because it goes upstairs to get approval and it takes two weeks. -

If you applied for a non O visa you would have to leave your passport. If you apply for an extension of stay for one year you are correct. -

CW keeps your passport for two weeks after you apply for a non O visa. You go back to CW and get your passport with the visa in the passport. The lady said she sends the passport to her supervisor and come back to get your passport in two weeks. Normal for a CW non O visa. -

I agree. I was not asked to prove the money came from overseas for my non O visa is my point. -

At CW I just got a non o visa from a visa exempt entry . I did not need a bank statement. Just a letter from the bank. I also did not have to prove the 800 k came from overseas. I had 800 k in my fixed bank account since September 2022 in Bangkok Bank. At the C counter the immigration lady was polite and courteous. she just needed passport pages copied, real passport to view and keep for two weeks, TM 87 form, copy of Bank book and she needed to view the real bank book, letter from Bank verifying my updated Bank book, one photo, a copy of my condo lease and a copy of my TM30 my landlord filed when I moved in. in two weeks you go back to CW to get your passport with the non O visa. -
I went to Lak Si “K” desk. In five minutes they gave me a correct visit exempt entry and did not charge me any money. Then I went to CW and applied for a 90 day non O visa. I return March 3 to CW to get my non O stamp. How soon can I apply for a one year extension of stay after I get my Non O stamp on March 3? many thanks

Nice immigration lady and I did not want to make a scene at the airport to embarrass her. Not a problem that I cannot handle and she would lose face. Try to be nice to nice people. In Thailand losing face matters and I chose to walk away and clear it up without her losing face. My decision. In another country I may have handled it differently.

I have an OA extension of stay until March 21, 2023. I left Bangkok and returned without a valid reentry permit so I could get 45 days visa exempt and then get an O extension at CW. at Swampy the immigration officer used an old invalid used reentry permit and stamped me in until March 21, 2023 and wrote that I had a reentry permit. I tried to explain to her the reentry permit was already used 3 months ago but she could not understand what I was telling her in English. Nice immigration lady and I just said ok and walked away. My Thai was not good enough and her English was not good enough to communicate properly. can I go to CW and tell them and get a non O extension or will I have to leave Thailand again before March 21?
