Hi All,

Can anyone please recommend a clinic/hospital that does freezing (cryo/liquid nitrogen) treatments for wart removal in Bangkok? Has anyone done this, would love to hear if anyone has gone through this process. Location/doctors/costs/outcomes? Am located near On Nut BTS.

Sorry I'm not going for the machine. Don't want to have to use that the rest of my life to sleep, plus it's noisy and uncomfortable for my partner. Hence the surgery.

Just wondering if there is a minimum requirement when you leave the country now, flying out/in? I'm planning ahead in a few weeks time, as my 1st 30 day extension will expire (after my 1st 60 day stay). Does Immigration require us to fly out of the country for a minimum of 24 or 48 hours now, or can we fly back same day? Also, any recommendations on cheap flights/close/worthwhile destinations? The help and advice is much appreciated, cheers!

Interesting but obviously we will need to wait for a higher number of replies from those on their 2nd METV. I am myself on the second back-to-back METV and had no issues whatsoever when entering in Nov. I will fly out to KL this weekend and return to DMK on Sun so will then be able to report back if of interest to the community.

I'm on my 2nd METV as well. Got the first one when I was home in April, arrived back in BKK in May. Went back home end of August, got my 2nd METV with no questions asked (same smooth process as the first) in October, arrived back here end of Oct. No questions at all when I arrived at Suvarnabhumi.

There is no limit on the number of 30 day extensions for visa exempt or tourist visa entries that can be obtained.

It is for visa exempt entries not visas, Topic here.
 

So if you're not on a visa (exempt entry only), you can only do 2 land border crossings/visa runs per calendar year...what about the number of 30-day extensions at Immigration?? That's still not clear.

It does not matter. As far as I know there has been no change.
 

Ok, the immigration officer told me 1x 30 day extension/year, then after that only 7 day extensions...Do you know someone who works at Immigration? Hopefully the language barrier was there and it's not true what he said, but I'm just telling you guys that's what he told me...

Just did my visa extension today in BKK. No problems with my stamp expiring on the weekend. BUT, officer told me you are now only allowed ONE 30-day extension PER YEAR! Now it's only 7-day extensions, max! He said they want to see people/encourage tourists flying in/out of the country...

• No. As your permission to stay expires when they're closed they should let you apply on Monday without charging for overstay.
• FYI. You can apply for extensions within the last week or so. You don't lose anything by applying early.

Ok great, thanks very much! Have you ever heard of someone being charged overstay fees when they've gone on a Monday when their stamp expires on the weekend?

A one off border hop shouldn't be a problem.
 
They are clamping down on people doing back to back visa runs, exceeding the yearly limit or suspected of working. If you use a visa run company they will let you know when you book if you're likely to have a problem.

What is the yearly limit??

Good to know, thanks! Just an English friend of mine told me they are cracking down on same day border/visa runs and that every time I leave the country I now need to fly out/in...But, if you had no issues, should be sweet!?

Has the status quo changed recently regarding visa runs? Once you need to leave the country (every 60 days, or 90 after an extension) is it still possible to do the various same day minivan visa runs to Cambodia or do we now need to fly out/in? If so, do we now have to be out of the country for a minimum time period (24-48 hours) before we return??

Am in Bangkok, wondering where I can find Collagen supplements that aren't cheap copies. Am an athlete looking to ensure better recovery. Have taken Collagen tablets in the past, types 1&3 and 1&4. I know places like GNC and pharmacies exist, but generally they sell cheaper, generic types; looking for higher quality. Any info would be much appreciated, thanks!

Thanks guys, its for enlarged lymph nodes ("persistent swelling in anterior cervical and submandibular area" is the clinical indications from my initial ultrasound report (Thyroid Sonogram). Says I need "Sonographic reassessment in 3 months, which is around now. I had the initial ultrasound done 6 weeks ago at the request of my family doctor back home. He wanted me to follow up and get another to see if they've gone down/what's happening now.
