Well, after over 20 years in Thailand,always had my TDL done in time,since the pain to go back ,I missed last 2 years.Now my drive licence expired, not a chance I'm gonna do all the process again,I guess before go back I will get a international one,also valid for drive your Thai vehicles in Cambo,to bad Thais gonna miss the fees,somnamna!

My tough, this time ain't gonna go down easy. 

Myself working in turism industry's got hit hard last summer,not work and little help by Gov.Now they close the skiing places,so no winter season too,restaurants and coffee shops closing at 18.00,people getting affected, Italians as happy and solar peoples are not used to this kinds of restrictions.

Not even those...if I have to spend that much,I 'll stay at home send money to my daughter and probably fly her over for holidays.

Besides that, i dont see any Chinese (or other citizens from Asian countries) have protests AGAINST wearing masks or having a bad attitude against covid restrictions.

 

It makes perfect sense to keep the border closed for westerners and first open it to other Asian countries, including China.

 

Of course thats a hard pill to swallow for some farang....the thought that other people can go first and they have to wait!

China got 5 major cities under lockdown,massive flooding in the central part of the country,a lot factory closed coz flood,agriculture products been wasted trying to save the biggest city,grains are rotting in warehouses around the country,earthquakes hitting few weeks already,unusual weather phenomena,snow in Beijing,hail resemble covid shape,massive thunderstorms and lightning,problems with USA,India,Australia,and Japan. 

I don't see them aloud their citizens get out the country any time soon.

The problem in Thailand is the length of light and darkness ,almost the same year around12/12.

The  commercial strains not doing well outdoor in tropics,to many fungus and molds.

I do belive they are talking about CBD cannabis,hardly any psychoactive effect.

Well...what I did understood ..banks need cash....october start restructuring debts....Thais need to pay back....can't low the intrest rate less then 0.5....bath will keep strong...Thais loose jobs,can't pay back....repossessions start...less export coz strong bath....more unemployment....I see a descended spiral ..

Very much my tought, I just wish I can go and collect my daughter and personal stuff,lock down the house properly, sell my bikes and goodbyes until this government is out,if things won't change on the next,well...! I'll never go back.

Had them 20 yers ago,deep fried with garlic, as a chef I couldn't refuse, didn't particularly like them,bittery coz liver they leave inside,crispy and salty.

Western countries should really note this nation's alliegences and treat accordingly. Tariff on western food items is ridiculous. Virtually no western products in stores

 My fly from Germany  to Italy been canceled,I did call my embassy  to ask for a  document to bring to immigration for a extension  to my O Visa.They strongly suggested  to leave thailand as soon as possible, you are better off  in europe without a fly then here ,the worry wasn't  about the virus but about Thai government.

I'm from Italy,been living in Thailand 22 years,looks like I'm stuck in here,I was flying  on the 18th Lufthansa  try call me so maybe the fly been canceled. I really feel the pressure of the situation,normally I work in the summer in the catering  industry,this year 99% won't  be a job waiting  for me,but I still prefer to go back in the quarantine  red zone then spend  1  or more months in here,after this announcement  from Health minister,I really feel I'm better off  in Italy  sick and jobless. 

What could happen  if somone get the virus wile in here?would be forced to pay for overcharged hospitals  bills?

What about coming back to thailand?blacklisted coz virus spreader?compulsory  health  insurance  for everyone aloud in the kingdom?so many things this government  is capable  of,got goose bumps  just at the thought.

I was there last Sunday,same 30 days exemption,the officer was very friendly,we chat a little,been asked many questions,about wife( I don't have one)all whent smoothly.

Previously one bar owner in Surin,told me they did stop give visa on arrival,so I whent two days before checking in both immigration in Kapchong and border in Chongchom,they told me there wasn't any problem.

Sorry for the farang got stuck there,very uncomfortable situation.

I just did it,you need to contact a lawyer,cost me 20000 bath,have a pre interview at the court,mother of the child needed,also the grandparents,been talk with each one,that the only time the family been needed if they willing

On the day of the court case,your daughter need to be present.

The judge will decide if you can have the the rights or not to change the divorce documents.

Than if the verdict is positive,must wait one month for the court paper,than go to the amphoer and change the divorce documents.

you seem a competent and nice guy,never been ask for tabian baan from my child,only looked the divorce papers.My point for posting was to advert the many guys in overstay,be carefull,better you go fix it to your nearest immigration office,if you try go pay the fine to the border they may catch you on the way there.

And second,but not last,the mith of you can stay in thailand indefinietly

on turist visa,even Savannahket,that looks one of the easy consulates start give you turist visa only one time(so said the desk officer).

For me is not a massive problem because i go work once at year,and i 'll apply for METV next time,but for the many under age of 50 and not merried could be a problem.

I could affort a elite visa,but i not see the point to give that ammount of money to a governement that make our life so hard for stay here just for the sake to take care our childrens becouse their mother's not give a f..k.
