  1. Hello, i have 3 half kiwi kids, one was born in nz, so no problems there, and 2 born here, pretty much all you have to do is get your passport translated into thai and then take it to get a stamp then get the thai birth cert with your name on it and take that to the embassy , now they changed it so that whenyou apply for citizenship for a kids you get the passport at the same time, need some pics of your ( they have to be perfect too or else they send them back) if you are born in nz, yo udnt need your birth cert ( they just look it up on the computer) you need to sign a paper saying your the dad( soon this with change to a dna test) pay the money 45 more for translation and then get the emvassy to send it, in my experience it makes it alot quicker.

The thai passport is easy take the kid and the birth cert and paper work in and pic it up the nxt day, i did this alone and couldnt speak thai so it wasnt to bad.

Hope this helped pm me if you wwant to know anything else

  2. We were at vorajack markrt and we saw this farang with dreds in his hair , about 30 years old and quite tall walking along, he was wearing the weirdest pants and shirt, stripy pants (black and white) and flowery top , my 5 year old son asked, is that man a clown ?.. anyway we were waiting at the zebra crossing then when the traffic stopped for the lights(not for people waiting ,,this is thailand) he pushed in front of all the people and hopped on one leg accross the road .

Every one looked at him and noone said i word , i burst out laughing.

Then he continued down the road yelling out something.

Very bizzare, good for a laugh though

  4. White with blue eyes - if they're Siamese 1500 is a bargain, normal price for purebred siamese are usually many times that.

That is the price of all the vacinations and flea treatments.

They are not pure breed, the mum is white with blue eyes and the dad is...who knows but they al are white with blue eyes , i just want them to go to a good home other wise ill keep them at my house.

Asoem is a typo of some..opps

  8. A New Zealander has been shot dead in Thailand.

Stephen Miller was killed as he was riding a bike home from the gym on Thursday morning. The 39-year-old had been living in Thailand for the past three years.

New Zealand officials say Thai police are talking to two people about the killing but have not yet received confirmation of any arrests.

Members of Mr Miller's family have flown to Thailand.

  12. Why can't you take her to Sweden? Do you not have a place for her to stay there?  It is possible to bring dogs out of Thailand, if you could find a place for her you could bring her back with you next time you go to Sweden. then you'd be sure. Expensive but a possible solution, anyway.

Well Silky is still at the hospital. The boarding is about 3000 per month. But I don't mind if she could just live a happy life.

Sweden is a rabies-free country so if a dog from Thailand is brought in the dog would have to stay in quarantine for 6 months. This cost about 200 000 baht I think, so it is really a LOT of money. Also Silky is an older dog, I don't really think she could handle the 13 hour trip, and not our very cold weather either. So, I think the only option is to find a home in Thailand. Unfortunately! :o

    Is she good with kids.

My son loves dogs, but he can be rough because the dog we had in new zealand let him .

We have a big garden here , grass and fully fenced.

i realy wanted a pure breed, but i feel sad for all the street dogs, we had one before but it went missing, i think some one ran him over...he wasnt the smartest dog ever.

I have been thinking about silky all night, if she is good with kids i will be happy to have her at our house, i can send pictures of our house if you like , so you can see she will be nice and comfortable.

  13. What kind of visa are you looking at? If you are living in Thailand with the one year extension, submit copies of your  passport as well. It shows that you are both tied to Thailand.

My husband got his 10 year multi entry tourist visa a few years ago in less than two days. He had been scheduled for an interview a week later but I emailed the consulate explaining that we weren't living in Bangkok so they scheduled us for the next day. He had his interview and received his visa on the spot. It was very easy actually.

BUT, we are married and have been for quite some time, I have had a one year extension for years, he owns his own business, owns his own house and vehicle and has money in the bank.

You must show substantial ties to Thailand and it will help if you can show substantial ties for both of you ie if you have a job here get a letter from your employer as well.

For me, we met in New zealand and we wher fine (away from the inlaw) then we came here and the trouble begun......

    its his rules here.

Just lucky i love him and we have 2 kids otherwise i would be outa here.
