I pay for Netflicks and Star4k but looking for other content. What does money have to do with it? If you can't help then best to keep quiet! ????

If you get a Netfix account and do not use a VPN, Thai sub titles are available on almost all of the movies. Thats how my wife watches her movies.
Thanks a lot but was also looking for other streaming sites. ????

Hi all, I was just wondering if anyone could let me know of any websites that my wife could use to watch English movies in Thai or with Thai subtitles.
Thanks in advance

I believe that to get the waiver, you are required to have a Bachelor's Degree. The waiver gives you time to upgrade it to an education. I hope the information they gave you is correct.
I hope so to. I now have the number of the person's boss as my director would like to speak to them and get a clear answer and what is actually needed. I know many teachers here in the south that have degrees and 90% of them are not educational degrees. Could be a lot of vacancies after the end of April!!
-
Try the University of Southern Queensland for their online or distance programs.
Also being enrolled in a degree course doesn't mean you get the waiver.
Email I received from them (Kru Sapa) yesterday confirmed that if I can show them proof that I have enrolled into a uni for a bachelor degree then they will issue me with a temporary licence.
-
OP...... Do you mean teacher licence or waiver letter?
Thanks
I would like the original licence but if not a waiver until I can find an appropriate online uni to enroll.

Hi all
I am an English teacher here in the south and have been for the last 9 1/2 years!! I have a TESOL cert and Thai Language and Culture cert. On submission of my documents for a teacher licence to Kru Sapa in Bkk this year, I received an email back explaining that if I couldn't prove i was enrolled into a university to obtain a Bachelors degree I would not get my teachers licence. I work at a private school and this will be my 8th year (at this school) I sent a letter with my docs to Kru Sapa and a letter from the director explaining that when i was hired 8 years ago, a degree was not necessary to become a teacher and considering my experience could this requirement be changed. Well the simple reply from Kru Sapa was no university enrollment no teacher licence!! There are two universities in Bkk where i could study for a bachelor degree part time but living 820KM from Bkk would be impossible to travel up every weekend.
I have been looking online to see if there are any online bachelor programs but they all seem to be "Life Experience" which I know won't be accepted.
If anyone has any info It would be most appreciated.

ko ngai is beautiful. it is not anywhere near trang (city) and is fact an island as we all see to know. ive read (read) there are nice beaches and scenery allong the coast and a big fave w/ thais - but trang city. please someone clue us in on what might be worth a trip to trang - other than to use it as a launch point to somewhere else.
cats well out of the bag friend, its the prices that have people balking (muk, ngai, kradan and even jum)
Ok Bkkburning Trang CITY is just a city and a bounce to get to you next destination but there are still things to do in and around the city, try some of the amazing waterfalls, hot springs, Cow fighting, rock climbing, paintballing, fishing... city or not a city still things to do just need to rent your self a motor bike and move a few km (about 2 to the nearest wf outside the CITY)
And Koh Ngai (Hai) is an ok island some good beaches and good snorkelling, but should try Koh Mook prices much cheaper and better beach (250 baht) all year round resort so its just a case of looking which you dont seam to be doing.
Dont always listen to the people trying to sell resorts in the travel agents.

I would recommend Trang as i live here, but do not go to Koh Hai Resort, Took my mum and dad there last year and its got a swimming pool but thats about it, its expensive the rooms are dated and at night there is nowhere to go as its on the corner of the Island and cut off at night to the rest of the Island and resorts, so you end up eating in there restaurant which was crap and buying there really expensive drinks as there is nowhere else to go. No entertainment either. Koh Hai is nice but go to any other resort but That one.
Also have a look at Koh Mook, Koh Kradan and Lipe and Lanta is only round the corner about 1 1/2 hours away.
All the best

Not sure about anybody else, im sitting in my home town Trang feeling for everyone that is effected by all this, but at the end of the day support the pad or the opposition this is totally distroying thailand and everyone involved in it and i cant see why something is not being done to kurb the crap that is happening at the airports, this is carring a major down side to all in thailand that depend on western support in one way or another. Get the airports back up and running b 4 all is lost.
Heres looking at BKK

Hi
I live in Trang and most of the Islands are very nice with some good beaches. Koh Mook, Koh Ngai, Koh Kradan but to name a few are very beautiful and have some great coral reefs for snorkelling and diving. Easiest way to get there is come to Trang Train station and opposite the station there are many tour shops that will help with what ever you are looking for. I would recommend SEA BREEZE very friendly they will not rip you off and give you honest ifrormation.
Hope this helps
