My problem has been solved recently but thanks for the suggestion!

This is what I mean...
Thanks, Richard!

I guess most bookings at AirAsia will not cause any problems, but IF you encounter a problem then you're screwed and have to deal with their virtual assistant BO, who has only limited knowledge and "is still learning", as he himself acknowledges during the chat.
For the rest one cannot contact AirAsia by phone, I tried the Thai service desk (voicemail) that spoke in a subdued voice.
Live chat with a real person is also not available anymore.
Be warned !

What would be a good insurance to choose after getting a Thai driver's license?
-
I'm planning to do a Thai motorcycle driving and theory exam.
Is any material available online to study the theory in advance?

The free shipping offer only applies to specific products from specific sellers even though it is prominently displayed as if it applies to any purchase... you have to read the fine print.
It is displayed under the product I was going to buy while meeting the free shipping criteria.

Do you order on your PC/laptop or mobile phone? On my laptop it don't work too. So I search my items on the laptop, put it into the basket, take my phone, search the free shopping vouchers and order it on the phone app.
No, I only use my mobile phone, so I still don't know why I'm missing out on all these "free shipping" offers.

Yes, it will be if there is a free shipping offer, there is a deduction at checkout equal to the shipping fee. Took advantage of one last week
In my case, there's NEVER a deduction at checkout. That's why I made this post, hoping to find an explanation.

Yes, the shipping fee is not that much (38 Baht) that's why I didn't pay much attention to the "free shipping".
But I'm getting curious why I don't get the "free shipping" eventhough I qualify for it...
But maybe I'm missing something?

Yes simple. The 'standard delivery' is the only free option available. The price will be deducted at check out.
Unfortunately the price NEVER will be deducted at check out while I meet the requirements like for instance minimum purchase.

I regularly buy things at Lazada and sometimes I see the text "Buy now 0 Baht shipping fee" with no special requirements.
But if I want to place the order there's only the "Standard Delivery" option.
Anyone who can explain this?

Can Google Pay/Wallet be used for cardless ATM withdrawals at Thai banks?
I've read that it was possible at Bangkok Bank, but when I informed at this bank they told me this was only possible if I had a Bangkok Bank account.
So, any information on cardless ATM withdrawals?

This must be Pattaya. I never see these kind of scams in Bangkok.
Are you badmouthing me? 😂

I asked this landlord to give me a copy of the TM30 reporting and he says that I can "report information to the local immigration." Does that make sense? Can I do TM30 reporting to immigration without any information of the landlord?

He wants ID from his tenant, what else is going to ask for! Yes, you are obliged.
Yes, that sounds reasonable. But isn't he also obliged to give me his name?

I just rented a place. The landlord didn't put his name on the "contract" so I'm not sure if he's going to do the TM30 reporting.
Now he's asking me for a copy of my passport. Am I obliged to give it to him even if he doesn't do TM30 reporting?

Have you verified that the insurance requirements you cite are still current? At many embassies, the Covid era insurance requirements have now been dropped. You should not rely on the embassy website as an accurate reflection of the current regulations, but check directly with the embassy. Which embassy will you be applying at?
Yes, I'm certainly going to check with the embassy!

When you apply for the 90-day Non Imm O Visa (retirement) in your home-country there are Thai Embassies that require you to take such Health-Insurance, as part of the application requirements.
When you are in no need of such insurance, and would only subscribe to it to meet those application requirements, the BEST and CHEAPEST option would be to
> NOT apply for a Visa, but simply enter Thailand Visa Exempt (without a Visa), and then when you still have at least 15 days left on the 30-days Permit to stay you received on entry by border-immigration, to apply for that 90-day Non Imm O Visa (retirement) at the Imm Office of the province where you plan to reside. When doing so there is NO need for any health-insurance.
Note 1: Do enquire at your local Imm Office (or on the Forum) whether your local Imm Office requires 15 days left on your Permit to stay, as some Imm Offices require 21 or even 23 days (e.g. the Chiang-Mai Imm office)
Note 2: If you do not have sufficient time to meet all the requirements (especially opening a personal Thai bank-account and transferring the required funds, might take some time), it would be a simple matter of first applying for a 30-day extension of your Permit to stay at your local Imm Office (costs 1.900,- THB and is delivered on the spot), which would give you enough time to prepare for your application.
Thanks.
But when I apply for a (multiple entry) NON-O "retirement visa" in my home country I don't need to show 800.000 Baht on my bank account, so that would be a drawback, at least in my case.
-
For a NON-O "retirement visa" I need to have insurance for 90 days with the following requirements:
1) outpatient benefit not less than 40.000 Baht
2) inpatient benefit not less than 400.000 Baht
3) cover all medical expenditures including COVID-19 for at least USD $100.000.
Anyone who can recommend me the best/cheapest option?

What is your previous history prior to current permit in Thailand.
I've been in Thailand many times but the last time I was here (before my current trip) was at least 3 - 4 years ago.

You will not be questioned when you enter the country unless you have gotten back to back visa exempt entries.
I want to depart and re-enter Thailand the same day, probably re-enter at DMK airport. That also won't be a problem?

I won't get questioned at DMK or SUV airport if I'd like to get a Visa Exempt?
This year I only got an eVisa.

Looked it up and to no surprise it's a costly excursion.
One way in the morning about 4k to 5k.
Return flight same day might be more than 10k.
Might well be that Kuala Lumpur is cheaper and more choices.
As far as you know: no problem for Thai immigration returning the same day?
Just a quick question regarding multiple entry permit
in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits

I bought a multiple re-entry permit along with my "retirement visa". I left Thailand a few weeks ago and are now about to return to Thailand.
Did I have to mention anything to the immigration officer upon leaving Thailand a few weeks ago? Or not necessary?
