I asked this landlord to give me a copy of the TM30 reporting and he says that I can "report information to the local immigration." Does that make sense? Can I do TM30 reporting to immigration without any information of the landlord?
I just rented a place. The landlord didn't put his name on the "contract" so I'm not sure if he's going to do the TM30 reporting.
Now he's asking me for a copy of my passport. Am I obliged to give it to him even if he doesn't do TM30 reporting?
Thanks.
But when I apply for a (multiple entry) NON-O "retirement visa" in my home country I don't need to show 800.000 Baht on my bank account, so that would be a drawback, at least in my case.
For a NON-O "retirement visa" I need to have insurance for 90 days with the following requirements:
1) outpatient benefit not less than 40.000 Baht
2) inpatient benefit not less than 400.000 Baht
3) cover all medical expenditures including COVID-19 for at least USD $100.000.
Anyone who can recommend me the best/cheapest option?
I wonder if I would save time by flying to Vientiane with an eVisa and then go rightaway to the border, instead of flying to Udon and take a van from there to the border with Laos?
Did you immediately return to Thailand after you got to the Laos checkpoint?
And Thai immigration also didn't care that you entered Thailand the same day you departed from Thailand?
Yesterday I went to CW, I always thought that Nonthaburi was a district of Bangkok but learnt it the hard way...
But like I wrote in my earlier post, CW appears to be well organized.
Nonthaburi immigration works slowish. Officers slurping their coffee, looks like it's not well organized.
Had to go through water knee deep because of flooding. What an entrance...
Won't go there again.
Chaeng Watthana appears to be much more efficient.
I just got a new scb debit card "Let's plus" which includes accident insurance.
Would this be a reliable accident insurance, or more a case of "hope for the best" when something unforeseen happens?
My Thai bank card has expired. Can I just go to any of my bank's branches to replace it? It was issued in another city, so very inconvenient if I have to go there.
Does it make any difference when choosing between a tourist E Visa or a Visa Exempt regarding the need for an onward ticket, health insurance and proof of accommodation?
Or is it the same for both options in this regard?
