I'd a similar story happened to me in Issan, if the story is fishy as it sounds, my ex-wife got less money to spend monthly on absolutely no useful activities, due to temporary financial shortcoming's occurrence. Didn't take that long, before a plan was set in motion, to get rid of me long time, with the help of her brother, I felt something was up, unusual behavior, such as discontinued shopping for groceries, main pipe water cut off, going away for days, snakes and poisonous/painful crêpy crawling creatures in my bedroom when woke up in the morning, for a sample, anyhow the primary plan was to dump my body in a prepared tin dry grass/wood in our dry deep well and lit it - as you see, did not succeed as I become aware of the plot, due small talk CCTV monitor installed, they would drain my visa deposit account, and sell the house, for a better future living, her sister was also involved I found out later - took preempted countermeasures, and solved the problem permanently - happened 5 years ago

    i pay 60 baht a bag they say 'gua gee' at the medicin shop, excellent for  person nervous system and sexy flower matters also for all kind of trees

My elec/'phone/internet/TV/gardening bills come to more than half of your 15,000 bht p.m.  Yes, I could reduce these costs - but prefer not to do so.  my half of that, food bill monthly at 5000 baht - shooping at Big C, for farang food. I'm alone my house, except 3 semi tame 3 cats, which also eats farang food

    Regards to swimming business, 10x4x1.5 M, self-made dug-out dirt rebar,, color cement. Rain water feed from house roof. No pump, PH always around 5 meaning clear water.  Cost 30,000

    Visa extension, on retirement O-A visa extension, have a private, excellent, econometrical, hospital, highly recommend by Thai friends of health care service,   

    Have an old motor bike, but mostly make use of friend’s sailor, van, private car service.  

    Of course buying capital goods are extra also trips, but is not a problem as I have cash enough in a bank abroad, also have pension more enough to spend here/plus….

    Actually I do have 3 aircon, only at living room is couple of Hitachi floor fans, AIS 700 baht/month my HS internet provider, HOME CABLE 80 channels is the provider 300 baht/month, swimming pool, 2 guest rooms, have around 8 good  Thai friends, don’t drink, of course Hua Hin and Bangkok is extra.

    I reside alone on a dead end small soi in the outskirt at Udon Thani, own house and land 225 talang wah thru proxy person for the past 22 years.

    Total monthly expender is 10,000 baht, cable TV, internet, air running 24/7, skipping at Big C once a week and are very good friends with the people living in rest of the 8 houses here. .
