Hi I have just purchased a cooker and I'm very happy with the product but the protective plastic film is almost impossible to get off. Any ideas on how to remove it without damaging the finish?

Are the batteries available in Thailand for the vaping mods and if so where? I'm sure I put mine on charge last night but it's vanished.... Literally vanished into thin air!

As you can see they are now in.

Put the lid on and give it a swizzle!

Not sure about the mozzies but my bottle traps work great. I use a can of coke or Fanta mixed with molasses and EM, when I'm on the dregs of my beer I pour that around the rim, they love a bit of it. To speed the death process up every hour or so I go back to the traps put my hand over the entrance and with my other hand tap away to the tune of my favorite song. Just been using this mix for 3 days and it's the best I've used yet. I'll post some picks tomorrow....... Fly killing at it's very best.

Hi just woke up this morning and the gland on the left hand side of my neck has swollen to the size of a golf ball. Any over the counter medicine available or should I go see a doctor?

I'm sure it will be a very easy victory for England on Thursday then another the next game ending up group winners. Wales will loose on Thursday followed with a defeat by Russia in their final group game. That group finishes.... 1st England, 2nd Russia, 3rd Wales because of the victory over a very very poor Slovakia! Surely anyone who has the slightest inkling about football could have seen this from both games played already.

Good reading this thread, for what it's worth I thought England were excellent last night, could so easily have been 3 or 4.

Distant relatives of my wife took life cover out for their dying son. Not knowing this. We took him to hospital and paid for treatment that was working. When we left Thailand to return to the uk we phoned the family to check on his progress. After one month he was dead. We later discovered that they had stopped him going for pre paid treatment that we had organised and binned his medication as soon as we left. The poor guy died one month after we left Thailand. He was a lovely bloke. I was so sad and the wife was livid. I couldn't believe it was possible to take life cover out on a different person.

It was definitely an eye opener to the darker side of Thailand

It is for sure odd but if the pay out is as good as I've been quoted today then I'm in. The family members I'm talking about are good folks too and have started these policies for their family including my wife. I'm just thinking I may as well join in and earn a quick buck. One is on his way out so how can I loose?

Seems like a good way of making a quick buck to be honest, we all know how hard it is to make money over here so we could all chip in, say it's my father in law you pay me and when he's dead you will receive 75% of what the policy is worth, if it's your family member then you keep the 25% for what I paid then every ones happy. I can't see how this can fail there must be loads of us over here married to a Thai lady with aging family members, if we sort it out we could all make a bit of cash while sitting on our backsides waiting for the old and sick to die.
