  1. Nah, they where almost 600 years behind the first banning and there where many before them. Quite interesting history line: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_cannabis_law
  2. Section 47. Proxy Voting A joint owner may give a written proxy to the other person in casting the vote on his behalf, however, a proxy shall not be permitted to receive such written proxy to cast the votes in a meeting in excess of three units. The following persons shall be prohibited to receive a proxy to cast the vote on behalf of a joint owner: Board members and their spouses, Section 37/1. Eligibility for Appointment In the case where any unit’s ownership holder consist of several joint owners, only one person shall be eligible for an appointment as a member. ----- In fact, no point it listing them all and then posting the link, might as well give you the link to peruse straight up. You "should" find all the answers in the Condominium Act I would think (at least most of them). A useful library of translated legislation: https://library.siam-legal.com/?keyword-type=course_length&s=condominium+act For a question not specifically addressed in the Condo Act perhaps someone that has been in a similar situation will add info.
  3. It has, this thread is about the change - no insurance required for anyone now.
  4. I "think" he meant onward flight (as in, out of Thailand within the time stamped in) rather than return flight. Unusual to be asked at a land crossing but this is the second report I've read this week (other was Cambodian crossing from memory).
  5. If willing to do a bit of sleuthing, perhaps the info below could help you track down the actual legislation (I'm afraid my Thai ability is nowhere near the requirement to search the Royal Gazette - https://ratchakitcha2.soc.go.th/ - but I'm sure you or your wife could find it given the date of publication is known). "The Royal Thai Police has recently issued the new Regulation which provides some Expats’ relief on the requirement of TM30 reporting, as well as for property owners (i.e., house-master, owners or lessors of a residence) and hotel managers in Thailand. The new Regulation was published in the Government Gazette on 16 June 2020 and it has been effective from 30 June 2020 onwards. According to the new Regulation, property owners and hotel managers are required to submit TM30 report only for the first time when the foreigner arrives at their premises. It is no longer required to repeatedly submit TM30 reports every time when a foreigner travels out of the country or temporary stays in other premises (i.e., no need to re-report upon returns to stay in the same premises within the check-in period, rental period, or within the period of their re-entry permit)." https://www.pkfthailand.asia/update-on-relief-for-tm30-filing-requirements/ Edit: This article from a legal firm actually mentions your situation with re-entry permits: "The new rules are applicable to all foreign nationals who stay in Thailand on any type of visa, including holders of multiple-entry visas and re-entry permits which enable the holders to leave and return to Thailand within their visa validity period." https://www.tilleke.com/insights/thailand-relax-rules-tm30-immigration-requirements/
  6. Took more than a couple of hours, but close, insurance requirement dropped for all 555
  7. https://www.japantimes.co.jp/news/2022/08/18/national/japan-drinking-campaign-backlash/
  8. There is no vaccination requirement, there is no test requirement, there is no insurance requirement other than for citizens from the extreme minority of countries that require a negative test to get back into. https://www.tatnews.org/2023/01/thailand-maintains-fully-reopen-entry-rules/ (<--- that should be "returns to" not "maintains" in my opinion, but we'll cut them some slack to save face!) As it stands, being from Switzerland you are good to go. This can always change (as illustrated by the latest fiasco), as can the Swiz requirement for entry.
  9. Where from and for how long? Their rationale (I felt dirty typing that!) for insurance is that if you are from a country that needs a negative test prior to boarding the return flight you need insurance in case you get denied boarding (has to cover you for 7 days after scheduled flight), but just for fun they also want it for the time in Thailand. On the other hand, if you're not from say China or India, feel free to come without a requirement for insurance. Where's the logic? Who knows ????‍♂️
  10. It's only a requirement for a very small minority - do you require a negative covid test to fly back to your home country? If no, you don't need insurance (at this time that is of course, who knows if required in a couple of hours 555).
  11. Suthat Siwaphiromrat. Named in one of the original reports (linked from "tycoon" in the first sentence).
  12. Here's some to start with: https://onward.flights/ https://bestonwardticket.com/ https://onewayfly.com/
  13. Which office (will help those in the know give targeted info)?
  14. You don't need insurance - only those that could be potentially be denied boarding on return to their home country need it e.g. Indians and Chinese require a negative covid test before flying. If the requirements change again, then yes, your Thai Social Security will cover it for you.
  15. No test to get in. Chinese and Indians will require a test to leave, hence the insurance requirement for them.
  16. It's a bit of a dilemma for sure. The fiasco yesterday ended up with a couple of countries proclaiming it force majeure therefore insurance policies worthless, wonder how a chargeback on a card would go?
  17. Your a bit behind on the flipping and flopping. As it stands now no restrictions or testing whatsoever other than insurance for a very small minority of travellers. Of course than can change in an hour or two as we've already seen 555
  18. 100% correct, same deal in Oz as you explained about NZ. It was disgusting. The thrust of the policies as a whole where, I believe, supported by the vast majority - the actual implementation, not so much.
  19. I take it you don't get out much.
  20. Ah well, every bit helps, I hope they at least green light Finland and Poland.
