  1. So much for the plan of him being the Army C&C when Thaskin comes back to take over the country. :)

For such a smary guy, he was just another played by Thaskin. :D

A 5.56 round shut his mouth once and for all. What's next? The Thai's all back to being sub-servant to the elites? :D

Things won't end tonight. Regardless, I am happy I left Thailand long ago..... :D

Can't wait to see the 'after' photos of the Silom area! :D

  2. First of all, would you ( You mean Thai's?) call a chinese a farang?

Thais would call him 'Jean" 1st = Chinese.

    or some one black?

"Dum" always 1st, then Dum falang...(insert nationality).. Or korn Dum Issan...etc.

    123 :o

    Hello,

Thanks for your mail. I am very interested in purchasing the property and I am willing to go by the price. Like you already know my name is Carona Brown, I am married to Mr. Williams Brown who worked as the financial Director in United Nation Development Programm for more than Ten years before he died in the year 2002. We were married for twenty-three years without a child. My husband died after a brief illness that lasted for only few days. Before his death we were both Christian. And since his death I decided not to remarry.

Recently, I am having serious sickness such as cancer/partial stroke problem. Having known my condition, I decided to relocate to your country and leave my live comfortably since my husband relatives are not Christians/the bad relationship maintained. When my late husband was alive he deposited the sum of (Twenty Five Million Seven Hundred Thousand Dollars) in a security vault affiliated to POST BANK EUROPE, which I want to use to purchase your house and also invest the rest on properties for my up keep. I have arranged with the company to move the funds to your country for my investments, which means that one of their agents must accompany the consignments until they get to your home, though the company is not aware that the content of the trunks is cash because they were not deposited as containing cash rather as containing personal valuables. So I would want you to help receive the money and safe-keep it pending when I will arrive your country.

I would be very glad if you can assist me receive the funds so I could buy your house and also invest on properties. I shall give you an authorization letter that will allow you to receive the funds on my behalf pending when I will arrive your country. You shall have 20% of the total money after successful transfer as appreciation if you help receive the funds. Please see my attached picture.

    Thanks and best regards.

    Carona Brown.

    Rip off or not?

I received the same email message 1 on a property we have for sale. Smelled like Nigeria right away.

Perhaps, we should wind them up, and again, they are most likely reading these posts.

I think the catch will be as Gary A stated....This is funny really. I'll post when I get message 2...

  4. Mr Ulysses, perhaps you should read a couple of books about Thailand. When you free, pop into Asia or DK Books and purchase yourself a couple of good read-ups.

Perhaps you should check out the clinic and drug store near the bookstores and up your Meds....

    :o

  5. I dont mean to be rude but it

Sounds like too much hard work, and even if you get married the family get togethers will be a nightmare ,

or you could just do the same as many folk and splash your cash until its all spent, just buy your return ticket first

    colino

Another thought....Perhaps they are all in concert to get more Sin Sot?

Sneaky....Yet plausable. They sound like such a hassle now, wait till you're Family

    Pass

Yinglak Shinawatra (center) attends a Puea Thai party meeting

Thai parties seek support as nation awaits new PM

JFK's father said "You need three things to win an election; money, money, money."

That bag looks kind of heavy Yingluck.....

digitele then offers to carry it for her.........

  7. -Welcomed by the head of Immigration.

    -On December 5th.

The PAD went too far and trapped themselves. In this conflict they are losing. Period.

Closing the airport again would finish them off (and the entire country) quickly.

PAD played checkers in a chess game. In the past this group could do ANYTHING and get away with it.

Let the games really begin, because we haven't seen anything yet.

  8. Not everyone has the ability or courage to close down an international airport.

    That's correct.

Only fools will do so, supported by military know how, tactics and mysterious sources of enormous money supply to back up the PAD operations.... :o

In the end it's -again- the old elite, running the country as they please, wished for and succeeded, for the time being.

But..in the end it is ALWAYS the people who win...always, and not the fools. Never ever underestimate the power of the people... :D

In the meantime it's the country as a whole who lost by closing the airports.

    LaoPo

My Man Laopo!, :D It is what it is. The majority will have there voice in the end through. Albeit messy.

The hardships they did not create: yet they are the victims? What other options do the majority have? Revolution.

It is what is and...it will be interesting....... :D

I love the Thais. The majority that is...Best friends I've ever had.

  9. Doesn't matter, denying the protesters access to the airports was a dismal failure on the part of the government. A true embarrassment to say the very least.

The fact that the protests at the airport were so incredibly well managed and that no damage was done shows just the opposite about the PAD.

The Gov't should have simply put enough people around them to deny them access to the interior and then moved them to one of the ramp areas. Let them maintain the protest there w/o totally disrupting services. I think 2000 police in riot gear and a good negotiator would have been able to move them to the 2nd or 3rd floor area outside. Then negotiate to allow them to bring in portable toilets etc.

The Pad announced that they were about to move on Suvarnabhumi. They also said when they were abandoning government house and reinforcing the airport protests.

So the police cleared the roads and let them in , just as they gave free access to all the food and supplies that they needed?

    Bizarre!

The police and military need specialist training in riot/terrorist/crowd/incident control and who better than the Israelis or Brits. Loss of face though!

Yes the western world has quite enough black-clad thugs in armour walking around for Thailand to even think of copying.

If the Thai Police adopted the so-called 'professional' tactics of the west there'd be a bloodbath. The Thai's don't take a beating and being baton charged lying down like the westerners tend to do, there would be x10 the response and violence from angry thais.

The fact that the PAD has vast numbers helps as well :D

    :o

  10. Dunno know quite a few thai(s) including my gf that get lower prices from hotels because they are thai. I'm assuming it must depend on the place.

I really think it's whom there are sizing up on the other side of the front desk.

My wife Thai-American breezes through every venue usually with the discounts.

At our favorite hotels in Bangkok, she just gets handed the keys as soon as she's there. :o

It's the individual, not racisim. They want to book the rooms, not problems.

  11. I take the view that this most frequently used 'Trinkism' is popular in our speach and writing because it absolutely does encapsulate and express something people feel about life in Thailand.

Yep. Trink had it right. One problemooo.....He was ignoring the cooking pot. It went from always simmering to boiling.

TIT December 4 2551 / 2008. Call it 2009 / 2552. Basing old opinions on TIT. TIT is in serious forward flux.

It's a beach. 21st century and all. Change, serious change is inevintable. Good or bad - Change. Wanna' bet?

One more thing GH..as you are quite on the high road here on TV, and in SA. Wow, great speach.

    :o

Respectfully. I like your posts actually. :D

If you post back in a negative sense, I will look for support from Nam, formally Dr Nam. I want his take on this....

    :D
