Pick up the dam phone and call her on her phone number and not on social. That will get your closure. It may also demonstrate to her that you are fighting for her. Open another social media account and add her again. Send a direct SMS message. Don’t just sit on your ass if you really like her.

TD bank has an account with Kasikorn bank. All my transfers from Canada arrive the next business day from when I did the transfer. For example if I transfer money online using the swift code for Kasikorn bank before midnight, It's deposited in the morning when I wake up.

In Thailand the law pertaining to prostitution and underage girls is geared towards the person pimping out the girls, bar owners, and the massage shop owners, not the customers. The customers nor the working girls will never be prosecuted because there is no law to do so.

Who said land borders would waive the fine? Not me.

Agents could lose your passport or maybe, a slight chance of the Embassy but  never ever would a local Immigrstion office require you to leave your passport In the office over night. They always complete it the same day. If you are that paranoid, don't travel abroad.

I'm sorry but with the climate the way it is now, you will be 100% dinged with a 1 day overstay at the airport or a land border. It is not a big deal unless you are caught inside Thailand on an overstay. 500 Baht fine and a stamp inside your passport. Really, there is no excuse for this and you should have booked your flight home well in advance. 

Another option would be to use one of the reliable visa run services that can guarantee you entry with their connections with a single entry tourist visa from Laos. They accompany you back accross the border into Thailand so no need to worry about refusal. 

I would recommend you go to immigration right away and apply for the extension, don't wait. That way if they refuse, you have a lot of time to make alternate plans. If you wait till the last day and they refuse, you will get 7 days for the same 1,900 baht. Good luck!

Perhaps it was copied from the UK and North America where that happens on a regular basis.

Work permits can be applied for on your behalf but you need to go pick it up with your passport (original) and sign when it's finished. As for your visa, you must go in person to apply.  They will most likely go with you. As for the agency, the fact they got you that letter instead of asking you to go out to get the visa first which does not require that letter, the agency seems pretty legit to me so far. They did a little extra work and saved you a visa run in Laos.

So is it moving forward or being reviewed on Tuesday. These Thai visa headlines really need to be check for accuracy.
