I don't think the protesters support Hamas as they have proven themselves to be a nasty lot murdering 1500 Jews. The problem is with the Israeli response killing over 30,000 Palestinians mostly women and children.

2. Anybody who lives in Thailand should be aware that riders and drivers regularly ignore red lights. It seems for many red is only red if it was red for at least 5 seconds or something like that. And because that is as it is, it makes a lot of sense to wait a little after you have your green light. And look out for the bad guys, just to be sure.
In Thailand it is a very bad idea to walk if you see green only because in theory you should be able to do that. Don't do it! Watch first! At least if you want to live a little longer.
It seems the driver was not arrested by the police right away. Why not?
You know you are in Thailand when you go through a red light and look in your mirror and see three guys come through behind you.

When the second amendment was written bearing arms meant you had a sword or a single shot black powder blunderbuss. Machine guns and RPG's were not yet invented so how did they sneak in ? Lack of judicial oversite ,now too late to fix , the USA is doomed.

I hope they continue to report on this showing how it plays out.

We had a steel contraption in the front room called a "Morrison Shelter". I remember waking up in it a couple of times.

It seems the rules about vehicles on the beach are very different in different countries.
I can't imagine ever seeing a vehicle on the beach when I grew up. Not in the country where I lived, and not in any neighboring country in Europe.
But I remember seeing Hollywood movies where people drove regularly with cars on the beach.
Where I grew up , Liverpool ,just north of the city you could drive on the beach from Formby to Southport. They even had special beach police to catch speeders.

And how might a motorcycle rider with kids front and rear, doing 60 kph have fared?
That is why I would not ride my motor cycle at night anywhere I was not familiar with , that is checked out in the daytime.

Being young and stupid wanting to show off to the girls I lifted up the end of a pool table so the balls would roll to the other end. Next morning my shoulder was locked stiff and painful so I went to the doctor. He figured he could fix it with acupuncture but I howled when he stuck the first needle in. He said that is not supposed to happen so he stopped and gave me a sleeping pill . Told me to go straight home as I would be asleep in half an hour. I slept from Monday lunchtime to Wednesday sometime. Passed out in the bathroom or so I was told and got packed back to bed. When I woke up the pain was gone but it was a couple of days before I could lift my arm above my head. Not one of my most pleasant experiences.

I have observed that are definitely less stray dogs in Sakhon Nakhon than other areas of Thailand. Form your own conclusions.

What's the reason for pre-loading so much credit on your phone?
If you are going overseas and want to use the roaming feature it will eat up money quick. Safe to have a large balance.

Ha Rin beach is not too big and a couple of thousand drunks easily fill it up. Then the tide is always coming in at full moon and compresses them or drives them back off the beach. The men all stand in the water up to their knees to take a leak ,I don't know where the women go. I checked it out once, stayed about an hour that was enough for me.

Xi does not need to invade Taiwan just wait and they will come of their own accord as soon as it becomes more beneficial.
The US likes to keep them pumped up so they keep buying armaments, so don't believe US bull **** . They have already changed the name of the airport from Chiang Kai-shek to Taoyuan.

At the risk of sounding trite, you should not believe everything that you hear on the news regarding Brexit! It was a hard contested political decision. "The establishment", including both major parties, and a large swage of the middle classes, (particularly those in occupations which let us say, were closely bound to the EU) were in favour of remaining. The majority of the population, as the vote showed, wanted to leave.
It divided the country, and the country frankly remains divided. This division is reflected in media portrayal of the matter.
Brexit was pushed behind the scenes by the rich with their money hid in places like the Cayman Islands. The EU was threatening to start looking into these. Thats why they bailed out, leaving the ordinary Brits with no more cheap beer and fags. The only problem I had with the EU was that meat pies had to be sold at a high temperature making them impossible to eat till they cooled down.
