Mmmm, just red a story about 2 policemen eating in restaurant while Thai were waiting outside for take out.

They had free food (bribe) and breaking Thai law (eating in restaurant). But it was no problem for police chief.

    How the world turns.

What has that got to do with the drinking on the street news?

too bad if just walking past with a water in your hand not sure if drinking a beer on your own is strictly illegal either, this is pushing rules to abuse levels, then they pile them all into vehicles and soi 9 breaking the rules they were arrested for

    nothing but a money grab

also - looking at the area along the footpath seems there are now market stalls along there for food etc - gathering is going to happen so who is breaking the rules ?????

no these people are not there to buy food, there’s few restaurant they hang out every night at the same spot buy beer from 7/11 across the street, sit’s there, hang out till 8.30pm or close to curfew time of 9pm. Don’t comment if you don’t live or know the truth

Many ASQ hotels are advertising 14 and 10 day rates.  Have a look in the ASQ thread.  It is expected that the 10 days quarantine for people from certain countries (no one knows which, expect countries with low infection rates) will start 1 April.

Canada, Denmark, UK, switzerland, Germany, Japan, Singapore, and some other European countries are still 16 days and 15 nights. Arrival day doesnt count as 1st day and I’m arriving first thing in the morning at 7am. And still get your fit to fly certificate even though it says no need dont take the chance.

  4. Screw that! I don’t even drink overpriced <deleted> coffee here in the west let alone I’ll drink it in Thailand that costs twice more than here. There’s so many better coffee shop over there. Hate to see ppl being pretentious that they can’t afford specially what’s happening in the world. In Canada 300 starbucks is closing down because they know the coffee are <deleted>ty and overpriced and ppl are not being dupe into their BS.
