Kerryd made some very good points, The point of the thread was the dress code. I am sure many of you remember when a plane trip was a special occassion and everyone on the plane dressed for the occassion like going to church or a wedding. How times have changed, women's short shorts, leggings , flip flops.

The ladies from soi 7 beer garden know of the short time hotels nearby for 300 baht with clean sheets and towels. Ask and they will show you the way

The bar on soi 7.1 was named Bangkok Beat a little more upper class than soi 7 beer garden but has closed and converted into a restaurant with pool tables..

Commenting on a thread from last week concerning bulldozing the beer garden soi 7 .
Well good news as I was there last nite and the beer garden was open and is the same great place to hang out as always.
I asked a few of the patrons if they heard anything about the beer garden closing and being torn. Nobody heard a word which is good news. I always felt comfortable at the old beer garden.
Cheap beer, not expensive ladies and good farang conversation

I wish the government would put this much effort into finding and bringing back THE BOSS. Who actually killed a policeman

to Briggsy, Have you ever heard the term Chinese junk ?????

It's always an issue after the fact. Floods all over the country. Stinky smelly canals in Bangkok, ocean pollution in Pattaya. Why can't the government act before a calamity occurs not after. Again poor planning or no planning at all
