QuoteFirst, workers at state-owned companies got dosed. Then government officials and vaccine company staff. Up next: teachers, supermarket employees and people traveling to risky areas abroad.

QuoteWaves of Chinese students and businesspeople are flocking overseas, apparently undaunted by the rampaging coronavirus. But first, many of them are making a beeline for Yiwu, a bourgeoning trading hub in eastern Zhejiang province.
QuoteA Shanghai student who needed to return to his university in the United Kingdom told the Lianhe Zaobao newspaper that his Chinese classmates and others who must travel abroad for business had all been heading to Yiwu to jostle for vaccines.

QuoteSome, like Cheng, simply want protection from COVID-19 — proven or otherwise — before they travel. One Chinese student who needs to return to France next month to complete her MBA found a CNBG booth at a Beijing expo in September offering vaccinations to students traveling overseas.

are you sure about that?
thai consulates in china are offering STV and SETV. no problem for individuals to apply. it's only in/out-bound GROUP tours that are restricted.
if the hubble-bubble is set up, group tour restrictions will be relaxed.
yes it sure.

Of course they expect it. Chinese businessmen invested money in Thai condos...they don't want to lose their money.

Time for these areas to stop the reliance on foreigners and gear themselves for the future without the addiction to easy money..
If they stop to rely on foreign tourism, some will have to shut down.
Business can not be the same with or without 40 millions tourists.- 3

He added that China had not allowed its citizens to travel on group tours, until a vaccine is ready. “This is what Chinese representatives told the Minister of Tourism and Sports on Wednesday,” he said.
I know a lot of chinese. They are not coming next year.
The government wants them to spend their money in China instead.
So the solution, they are not allowing chinese to traval abroad without the vaccine and at the same time it will be difficult for chinese to get the vaccine (if you are not well connected or business related etc...).
Most chinese I know are spending their holidays in China.
Seems we, European and american will be the king next year ???? -

Maybe a slight change in her model is required.
Businesses in Thailand are not the same when you have 40 millions tourists or not...
Without those tourists, a lot of businesses have to disapear- 3
