Yes we do. It fits nicely into our "informal" garden (ok jungle) with its rustic, grass up the middle, look.

Maintenance consists of bunging a load of fresh rocks down every few years on the bits that have sunk.

I admit to zero preparation when it was laid. Dump the rocks, barrow and rake them level (ish), drive the truck up and down a few times, get a beer. Repeat after a few months, eventually it goes rock hard and stops sinking.

Not looking its best in this photo but it's cheap and if you have an informal garden just fine.

That will ding dang do for me.

  2. I've been up all night thinking about this bloody driveway, it's doing my nut in.....I'm of to buy the jetwash then I'm going back to bed!

  3. So does anyone have a crushed stone driveway? Will it just eventually sink away into the ground? All advice much appreciated, just days away from the final decision.

How long - 7 meters or 70 meters? Most country places with long driveways have good sized crushed rock/dirt combo built up driveways usually leading up to a concrete pad, covered garage....

Are you on high ground or a low lying area....Flat?

In between to be honest no chance of flooding and just on a slight slope.

Ive already seen that and you know it.... once again very nice job.

  6. That's what I'm thinking but we have concrete walkways around the house and the algie that grows is a pain in the ass in fact I'm off into town tomorrow to buy a jetwash to blast it all off. The car port is already there, it's not too big a space probably 300 square m.

  7. That's the kind of questions I want answering and should have tried harder with the topic but I'm very tired, been digging all day. Thanks.

Didn't see the fight....but on BBC Sports news they said Horn contacted with 17 percent of his punches.....and Manny contacted with 37 percent of his. A bit of a strange result based on that, and Horn was knocked down. Maybe the judges should be people who know nothing about boxing, and they give their decisions based on what they see right in front of them.....I doubt they would get it wrong.

Horn did go down but it was ruled out, he got a slap for sure  before he went down and I would have to watch it again as the room erupted. Not sure about the correct punches landed but I read something like Pacquiao 180 odd to Horns 80 odd so that tells the story. If it was for headbutting, grabbing the head of the opponent and using the elbows then Horn was the clear winner, in any other country he would have at least had 2 points deducted if not disqualified. Any way it was a very exiting fight blood all over the place and Horn ended up with a face like a smashed kebab, looking forward to the next bout and I agree with the poster before saying they will be another after the next.
