I must be very lucky have been here for 21 years from the UK. my total income is just over 8000 Pounds a year i only have to pay for electric and water i have a long term partnership asks for very little . I took out a long term lease on a house with the savings i had . I an 73 and fit as i swim cycle and go to the gym and yet i can still save 150 pounds a month to my UK account. i eat well also as i have home cooking . So i don't need to rich to be retired here . My visa every year is 1900thb and easy to do . yes i have the 800.00 in the bank an it makes interest better rate than the UK

My friend who has been here since the Samui plus does not have the money to pay out on a quarantine hotel in the UK at the cost of over 2 grand ..so will is stay here and will keep getting visa extensions . he has done the 3 tests and had 2 jabs back in the UK
