I'm cancelling TRUE for various reasons next week. Have been with them for 2 years on same contract (internet/phone/Cable). Can any TV member advise what I should be paying to cancel - 1 month? Thanks

If I remember correct, you will have to pay for the length of the entire contract.

I have once cancelled my postpaid phone contract and got charged 10,000 baht. Good luck!

Sure Bro...I hear you... Do you familar with clubs/bars that are good so that i can bring her together and chill meanwhile i let go my nephews to do their own thing...

Unfortunately Soi 11 is not much different than Soi 4. Some clubs like Sugar and Levels are OK but packed with working girls.

If you want to chill I would stick to rooftop bars..

Hi guys..Just would like to check with you.

I would be visiting Bangkok end of this year.. I would be staying in Soi 4 along the street about 700 meter walking distance to Nana.

I have a question as is the bar located the whole stretch is friendly for both gender as i my girlfriend is also tagging along.

I know that inside nana plaza would be a big no no.. But what about bars outside such as hooters, hillary.. Are the safe to bring my girlfriend have a light snack and a couple of beers.

You guys can ask me why bring girlfriend to such place as i also have a reason for that.. My nephews are visiting Bangkok for the first time and they wanted to go and visit the bars near Nana. Since i am much older, their parents ask me to follow them to guide them and make sure they are out of trouble. Since i am fed-up with this gogo-bar, i decided to ask my gf to tagg along so that i could spend some time with her since me and my gf stay apart.

I told my nephews that you guys can proceed to go Nana plaza and i will be outside in any one of the bars which is safe for girl.

But just wanted to get opinon as i dont want my gf to be disturbed or mistakenly looked and think that she also is working there.

Ohh yea my GF is a thai national from Issan and never been to Bangkok nightlife and she works as a nurse in Hospital in Issan.

Just concern of the safety and guys can recommend me a bar where i can have dinner/snack and have a couple if beers and hop to another bar near untill i wait for my nephews to return from Nana plaza.

I do not wish to bring her inside nana plaza as things can get much worse with the gogo bars.

Any bar is fine. Certainly if she is Thai.

It all depends on YOUR attitude towards other people for her to be mistaken to be working there.

Leave sandals and beer chang shirt at home and you should be fine..

  4. Hey,

I have been living in Thailand for most of the year. Made a total of 3 trips to my home country in the time. Currently on the longest for about 2-3 months (Europe).

Will I get another 30 day stamp on arrival when flying to Thailand in December ? I will have in/out flights, from and back to my home country and sufficient funds on hand.

Just want to spend christmas in Thailand with the wifey..

Depends on the ultimate goal. This link shows the categories that should pretty much cover all sorts of visits but the end game of marriage, study and/or employment probably needs to be clear at the outset. I imagine the old "to see if it works out" sort of visitor is proscribed like most every other European country.

We have been together for 12 years and I had to leave Thailand about 2 months ago to work in the Netherlands. The ultimate goal is marriage of course.

We couldn't get married as I only got a 6 weeks notice to leave Thailand which wasn't enough to request all documents from the Netherlands and have them translated to Thai.

If she comes on a tourist visa to the Netherlands, can we get married in the Netherlands and she can 'extend' or change her visa within the Netherlands to a long stay visa?

Thanks a lot for your help

  6. Hi,

What are the requirements for my girlfriend to live with me in the Netherlands?

We are not married yet, she has a small business and a bit of money running through her bank account.

I have a job paying above average and can show funds to fully support her.

Can someone explain to me what needs to be done for her to obtain a long stay visa?

  7. Hey,

Looking for a second home in Pattaya.

Probably on the dark side with a budget of 25-30,000 per month. Modern style house and a pool would be a big plus.

2 bedrooms will do. Any recommendations?

Najomtien, Sattahip and that area is also acceptable. Doesn't have to be central at all. Just very secure and private.

Don't want my neighbors hear every fart from my living room :)

    Thank you

I emailed ThaiVisaService and they were very prompt in replying.

No doubt if push came to shove I could make my own way to Laos and apply for a new TV but I guess it would best see how it's done first.

I get the impression these agents are 'known' to immigration  and perhaps that greases the wheels. Or I could just be imagining that.

    You would imagine right..

Just because you had no issues that doesn't mean other people won't or have not had them already

I wouldn't count your chickens if I were you, if you are staying here on 30 day VE you ARE going to have a issue at some point, that is pretty much guaranteed

I don't think anyone is dumb enough to live on 30 days in/out in Thailand these days. Going to immigration Monday for a 12 months extension based on... (none of your business).

so how many people here believe he really died in jail? That kind of money can easily buy a faked death like another recent wanted expat who is now living in Malaysia. 25 year olds in witness protection programs also tend to die mysterious deaths. Explain to me how one seizes crypto currency? It needs a pretty strong password. Just sayin'

    Who?
