BANGKOK:-- Here are the latest developments in the case of the five foreigners arrested Friday when a tourist policeman was shot and a body was found in a freezer in Sukhumvit Soi 56.

Police said that the victim was 45 - 55 years old, male, and cut up in five pieces and stuffed in a black bin bag. He had been in the freezer in a downstairs room for about a month.

On the third floor investigators found what appeared to be passport printing equipment.

On the fourth floor they found seven passports - two US, four French, one UK.

One had the following details: William Peter Johnson date of birth 6th February 1953. It contained 46 different stamps. He entered Thailand on 25th August 2000 via Bangkok on flight CX 701.

There were no other details from the other passports though the report did not make it clear that the passports were blank or just that the details were not released.

The five suspects - announced earlier as one UK national, two Americans and two Burmese, were being questioned at Prakhanong police station.

Immigration police from two divisions are investigating.

They are looking into whether the passports found are real or fakes, if there are warrants out for the suspects or whether they have broken immigration laws in other ways.

Meanwhile, Sanook.com reported that the shot tourist police officer was out of danger at the Police Hospital.

The man in the freezer was a foreign national who had been murdered.

He had had his clothes and shoes on and was in six pieces.

There were two Burmese at least one of who claimed to be a maid. They may have been a married couple.

The suspects were not living at the premises and had been using it just as a storage facility for three months.

Don't forget the gold chain necklace with a medallion the size of a manhole cover.  But seriously, hairy farang armpits probably are not at the top of the list.  A shirt with a collar, some footwear other than the 100 baht looking flip flops.  Hobbit feet probably don't make the top ten either.

Don't forget to wear a wallet fatter than buffalo!

When I was on a bus back home in dear old Blighty I had a similar experience but from the opposite sex. A middle aged woman in her 30-40s opened her legs on a bus, flashing her hairy monster at the afternoon passengers on their way home after a busy day at work,etc.. No one called the police, but there were many comments, giggles and taunts thrown her way. One woman went right up to her and shouted in her face "dirty count". Still one man harrasing a woman alone could be quite worrying with what happened the other week in Issan. Trying to get a free tug after a night out in Pattaya was he? Dirty trouser snake flasher. Maybe a pair of scissors should be mandatory objects to keep in ones hand bag whilst out and about in Los.

I think a lot of them do carry scissors. Take care of your trouser snake in Pattaya! Only let it out to play when appropriate!

  4. Pay your fine after check in. 500 Baht a day. Bring it to the attention of one of the officials directing the lines . You won't have to stand there forever as they will take you directly to overstay counter, pay your fine ,stamp passport and your on your way. Have the correct amount in cash to speed things up . Bit like a VIP check out as you won't be standing in that never ending line which can at times cost you a missed flight.

  5. Yes he does looked well practiced in tea leafing (thieving)sought of person that could wreck your holiday. Most of us know what it is like to loose your phone (with all your photos and contacts ) your atm cards and keys. Watch this video and it is obvious this bloke has done this more than once. Interesting to know what was in his bags at swampy.

Likely we will see what had happened eons ago in Las vegas. Hooker broads pushed out into the hinterlands as property values rise.

It always takes Thailand longer to get things done

but in time.....they always get done

I think that is slowly happening in Pattaya. Look at drinking street and soi 2 and 3 areas. Suits me less traveling from my digs dark side

  7. We all have our favorite street food treats and what i do is save their mobile number and give them a buzz when you are feeling peckish. They are never to far away. A friend of mine does the same thing with a different kind of thai treat in Pattaya. Support street food you support one of the best things Thailand has to offer!
