first came to thailand in 2016, being really smart we changed money at sydney airport, got around 22 bhart per dollar, we thought we were rich when my mate and i arrived in bangkok ,back then , compared to now, i can not see many things that are that much dearer, we , as newcomers paid then a hell of a lot for pussy, we definately got ripped of, you still can get 25 bhart for aus dollar now so i think its still good value here now, when i moved here permanately , i bought heaps of cash and changed at 32 bhart, put it in the bank, so in reality, now i am way in front, just back from aus and there is no way that i will ever go back there, its bloody expensive and there is a law for every thing, at least you are free here, i pay no rent live on our farm, we clear 150k bhart a year and we live like kings on my old age pension and i can not see any thing changing here to i check out, no i am staying

once you leave aus and become a non resident and you only have the correct amounts in your accounts in aus, and aus address, CENTRELINK, can do nothing, about what happens overseas, and really do not care, in fact my information came from centrelink workers, daughters of fathers who live in thailand, on old age pensions, they actually live in his house for free, whos name its in stops them instantly, own nothing ,tell them nothing, and a be bad gambler, same as politicians do, wake up, use the system, aus is now a wrought

leaving the 80k in a thai bank for 12 months term deposit is a no brainer, at the end of the term you pay thai tax, on very paltry interest, no tax on a savings account interest, at .5%, lend it out around the village or buy some sugar cane is a better deal, 10% i get here for a 12 month term, cane returns about 20% no problems for 5 years for the unbeleivers, top up when retirement visa is due from my aus old age pension account at 3% with no tax, and bring back cash on my yearly trip, so no bank fees and a great exchange rate at patts, this is the way to go in thailand, also cuts out the bloody bank fees

ya the bins are placed in front of every house, free blue plastic with a lid, supplied by the local council, thats the people in charge of the provence around here,si that, the green garbage truck is as new back hydralic loaded and maned by 3 very helpful guys, same at kumpawampi, it costs us 200 bhart a year per house, the recyclers are all private from this area, they compete to get your waste, their yards are well set up , on large blocks well out of town, our village won the 400k bart for the best presented for the kings cremation, it is very clean and tidy, the bore water is drinkable too!

i live 130 ks from udon thani on my farm, 15 ks out of si that, we have a regular garbage truck come every 10 days to our village of 83 houses, bins supplied and thengoes to all the surrounding villages, three recycelers come to take all the plastic, bottles and everything else that does not go in the bin supplied by the si that council, no body burns here anymore, we have just ploughed the waste back in from the rice harvest and the waste from the rice machine this year is going to grow mushrooms, we stripped the cane one month ago and it is now ready to cut without burning, no cane burning at all around here yet, the stars this morning were as bright and clear as anything that i have seen in the middle of aus, i live in paradise, thais are learning!

i am 150ks from udon thani, had ais internet for 4years ,been great, had true vision tv and it was good, same as sky in aus, and becomes boring after a while, bloody repeats, i have ais phone which i will never change, but the internet and true vision were costing almost 2000bhart a month, i believed that this was far to expensive so tot turned up with fibre optic cable, ran it to our farm and for 750 bart a month we get a phone connection, great out in the bush, wi fi, internet, my mate from aus thought ais was fast, tot is far faster and the tv is good for the thai misses, once you work it out and you can buy certain sports if you want, i am very happy, the two installers owned up and admitted they had not connected tv before, but if you are half computer smart it is easy to work out, hope i find the thai to english button soon
