Has he said similar things in the Thai press?

Weird move, but he is incompetent when dealing with the non-Thai press. He should have moved quickly off the cannabis topic, unless this was his major message.

IMO he talks too much. Work with Parliament to pass a Cannabis Control Act, if he is sincere.

He's not much better when it comes to the local press either...

  2. Have you noticed the one thing that all these old politicians (politicians in general, to be honest) have in common?

They're literally out of touch with reality. They don't even understand how their own people live. They're living a life away FAR from the same people who are funding their salary.

It's as if they're not even aware of what's happening in the world at all.

And of course they're doing all that while robbing their own.

  3. As I'm growing older (I recently turned 36), I realize that the worst kind of people are those who have an opinion about everything and anything without really knowing what they're talking about. You know, those who always try to insert their opinion without anyone asking.

Politicians are exactly these kinds of people. They try to tell others how they should live, speak, breathe, etc. These are truly the worst kind of people.

Just look at COVID... they kept telling people to stay inside while, themselves, having parties with other people.

I honestly can't stand them at all. They're exploiting their own people and are the LAST kind of people you should trust. They truly couldn't care less about you.

I 100% would trust a made men in the mob before I trust a politician.

Personally, I never really bought into any of this. To me it all seems just like marketing intended to get people more excited about buying weed. It sounds great, but it doesn't make a lot of sense. THC is THC. The only thing that really makes a difference to me is the dosing.

Anyway, to back up my claims, I did lots of experiments with different so-called strains that are supposed to do this or that. I did lots of mixing of strains together too. And the outcome of the feeling was always the same from all of them.

There were times where I used one strain and I might've felt one way and then used that same strain a different day and felt differently. And that would make no sense if there really is a difference in each strain. It can't make you feel one way one day and a different way another day if the strains are expected to do one specific thing. So, my conclusion was that the reason I felt differently on different days from the same strain comes down to dosing and perhaps my own mental and emotional state at the time.

At this point, I choose weed based on how it looks, how it smells, how it feels in my hand, and if it seems like it likely has a high level of THC. I pay no attention to the cool names or whatever claims are being made about the type of strain it is.

To each his own though. If people want to buy into the hype, and to believe there is some difference (other than look, feel and smell) then that's fine with me. It might have some placebo effect on how people feel from the weed if they convince themselves it's one way or another. I just don't let any of it influence my choices when I choose what to buy though.

Also, I think the anxiety that you mention can occur from your mental state when you use it. If you are very relaxed when you use it, then you probably won't feel any anxiety from the cannabis. If you've got something on your mind that's bothering you, and then you use cannabis, you might feel some added anxiety because of that. The other thing for me is that I notice cannabis often increases my heart rate for the first 15-20 minutes. Heart rate is also the brain's automatic reaction to situations of fear or paranoia. So when your heart rate unexpectedly goes up, it may be the subconscious mind associating that with and creating unexpected anxiety. That's just my theory, but it seems to make some logical sense.

You do make some good points, especially regarding the high heart rate shortly after consuming cannabis. Actually, part of my PTSD involves cardiophobia, which I developed 20 years ago. I've always had some form of health anxiety, but cardiophobia has always been the most prominent.

Then, in 2014, I developed heart arrhythmia (benign - just random ectopics, skipped heart beats), which increased my anxiety significantly. After undergoing tests and discovering that there's nothing wrong with my heart and it's all in the mind, that's when I started making serious efforts to understand this condition and how it can truly impact someone's way of thinking.

For that reason, I definitely notice a difference in how I feel depending on the strains. For some unknown reason, certain strains make my heart race, while others don't affect it at all.

  5. Ironically, I started weed again after 20 years (stopped at 16 and started again at 35).

It's really helping me with my clinic depression and PTSD especially when it comes to creativity and planning my days. I feel much more focused and helps me gets sh*t done.

However, it does sometimes add a little bit of anxiety but I've been having health anxiety since I was like 6-7 years so this is nothing new.

Also it is important to note that all strains are different and hits differently so while I do feel like it's helping this is not applicable for ALL the strains but only a selective few.s.

  6. I see that there's alot of people here that are into scambaiting. I highly suggest you guys take a look at this youtube channel.

The guy keep calling scammers and just talk over them all the time and they literally lose their sh*t everytime.

The way he make them say ''listen to me'' 10 times under 5 minutes is pure art.

  7. Productivity: Jack Herer

By far, Jack Herer is my favorite strain. While it does make me overthink a bit, it's always about meaningful topics and greatly helps me improve my productivity at work. It makes me consider things I never thought of before. Jack Herer is, without a doubt, my favorite and highly recommended. It's also pretty light so you don't have to worry about being too high. Very smooth and recommended for first time smoker.

    Sleep: Afghan Kush

A few puffs of Afghan Kush and I easily fall asleep right after. Not much to say about it, but it's excellent if you're struggling to fall asleep.

    Going Out: Bubble Gum

Bubble Gum is my clear #2 favorite. I just can't control my laughter on it, and it always makes me socialize more. I also appreciate the fact that it doesn't raise my heart rate too much, unlike Pineapple Express. It leaves me clear-headed and full of positivity.

    What about you guys?

  8. Chiang Mai here,

I've tried pretty much all the weed shops around the moat and this week I finally found a place outside the moat (Hang Dong) where the weed was simply amazing (at around 200 baht per gram).

It's called ''let's get high''. Not sure if they sell nationwide but I would think they do so. They basically have around 10-12 strains and they all sell them in different grades (see photo attached). I just started smoking a strain called ''mexican airlines'' and damn that got me rethinking my whole life and write a novel today about my life lol.

You guys should seriously check them out. And their gram is actually very generous (more like 1.3 - 1.4).

P.S: I have no affiliation with them. Just ran by there a few days ago and the service & quality was impressive.

  9. You should look at InDrive.

You can actually put your own fare and driver decides if they accept or not. I always use either Grab or InDriver. Bolt has a great app but It's seems hard to get drivers to accept booking (at least where I'm at in Chiang Mai)

  10. $40,000??!?

    I guess Bangkok Hospital?

I've had a motorcycle accident back in 2016 and they needed to revive me because my heart gave up because of blood lost and I stayed there for a 10 days in ICU. It was in Chaiyaphum in a public hospital.

Luckily nothing was broken but still.. the bill came back at around $830.

    $40,000 is insane.
