Further proof that Covid has very little, or rather, nothing to do with their draconian methods, Pathetic !

I sincerely think that the many, many Thai citizens, who have already been deprived of income for over 7 months due to the closures, and are struggling to feed their families, will disagree with your view that it is "great news". Who said selfishness is dead ?

9pm booze ban in certain areas could be lifted by mid-November Very, very few people are going to commit themselves to a holiday here on the strength of "could be" cheap promises. Until you have the balls to say "definitely will be", it's probably better to say nothing !

Thailand has changed, obviously, since my first trip in 1991, and in the 17 years since I moved over here to live. However, so has the city and country I was raised and brought up in. When I weigh up the pros and cons, the climate and cost of living makes Thailand a far better option for me, and I have no intention of ever returning to the UK. Now in my 60's, I have no intention to look for pastures new either.

That will always be the case. As long as the B.I.B. are making some sort of revenue, as in under the table cash payments, they will continue to turn a blind eye to said establishments. Those not complying with their financial requests will be severely punished ! T.I.T.

Thailand to end quarantine for some vaccinated visitors from Nov - PM
Thaiwrath replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
"Will consider" isn't good enough to get people to commit to come here. Not many are going to book to fly long haul, if they are unsure as to whether you have lifted your Draconian measures or not.- 230 replies

Climate and cost of living, the same 2 reasons I moved here. Just because people live here, it doesn't mean they have to love everything about the place. I despise the current government, but I try not to let it affect me too much, and hope that once these clowns are voted, or thrown, out, the whole country will be happier.
